When your guest says “Excuse me, what did you say?” It is because you are rude to them, not hearing their answer. Nobody, NOBODY, likes this style of communication. You should be brought front and center for this conduct. You are not better, smarter, or more informed than your guest. If you were, there would be no interrupting on your part. I don’t even remember your subject matter. All I can remember from this is you are not worth listening to. You are employing the same disrespect to your audience and you are hanging yourself with it. Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care. Did your mother not share this with you? Was your dad absent from your life? Did your dad act this way toward your mother?
