Halal Meat Only at UK Subway

British readers are encouraged to enjoy beer while they can. It may disappear even before Muslims achieve a demographic majority. Already ham and bacon are on the way out. Years ago, Subway started replacing them with halal substitutes in many UK outlets out of submission to Islam:

It has confirmed turkey ham and turkey rashers will be used instead in 185 of its stores, where all the meat will now be prepared according to halal rules.

People who like ham and bacon aren’t the only ones sacrificed to dhimmitude. Preparing meat according to the barbarous dictates of Islam entails cutting the animal’s throat and letting it bleed to death.

No worries, PETA; Subway says the animals are stunned first to reduce suffering.

However, Islamic scholars say Allah wants the animals to be conscious, so the stunning may have to end.

In Britain, killing an animal without prior stunning is illegal, but the law gives special exemption to Muslim and Jewish meat producers on the grounds of religion.

Sorry, animals. That’s what happens when a country no longer believes in its own principles enough to insist on them.

Those who disagree will be brought into line, as we see in a more recent story, from earlier this year:

Sebastian Walsh, 19, claims The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) suspended him after it received several complaints from other students.

The first year student had told friends he would never eat at Subway or KFC because they sold halal meat that had been slaughtered without stunning.

Never has a culture embraced its own demise as readily as today’s politically correct West in the face of our perennial nemesis Islam.
