County Commissioners Hold Regular Meeting for May 2019

The Macon County Board of Commissioners met for their regular monthly meeting last night. The meeting lasted over three hours and recessed to reconvene next Tuesday at 6 pm to continue budget discussions. A partial video is available on the blog. [LINK]

As soon as the handouts and budget message are made available to the news media, Macon Media will add the information to the blog.

Outlook

Dry and relatively cool high pressure will move across the area through today. The high will move off the southeast coast on Thursday while an upper ridge builds across the Deep South late in the week into the weekend. This will lead to warm early summer-like conditions with only a small chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
