Geoengineering Could Lead to War

What if a major country were taken over by ideologues so demented as to literally believe in global warming dogma? What if those maniacs tried to correct the climate through geoengineering? It could lead to war:

A recent report from the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) found that nations around the globe must implement “rapid and far-reaching” changes in energy sources, infrastructure, industry, and transportation to avoid catastrophic consequences of climate change.

These “rapid and far-reaching” changes usually boil down to suppressing the use of fossil fuels and redistributing wealth to Third World tyrannies. Since as a rule people do not want to starve, only evil lunatics and the mentally impaired (for numerous examples of both, refer to the Democrat Party) want to impose the level of lunacy necessary to reduce carbon emissions to a point where the weather would be acceptable according to liberal theory. That’s why carbon levels continue to rise. However, for those who believe the hype that the ever-fluctuating climate is somehow a problem, there might be a workaround.

Hubris has led some to investigate the possibility of manipulating the atmosphere in order to regulate the unruly climate. Possibly inspired by traditional depictions of hell, they might pollute the atmosphere with sulfur particles to reflect life-giving sunlight back into space. Seriously, Harvard is currently researching this.

Even if geoengineering produced beneficial effects in some parts of the world, it could produce disastrous effects in others.

So if a rogue nation were to start a geoengineering project without international oversight or buy-in, some experts worry the unintended consequences could lead to war.

To avoid this, the international community would have to agree to the project first. Problem is, there is no international community. There are only separate nations with their own interests and viewpoints. Sometimes they form alliances, but never will there be consensus on something as radical as altering the atmosphere because progressives have convinced themselves that it’s too hot out.

In World War II, nationalism saved the world, because national interests compelled various countries to team up against Hitler’s transnational ambitions. If it prevents moonbattery-inspired geoengineering, nationalism may save the world again. No wonder moonbats hate it so much.
