Seasonal temperatures and humid conditions will persist over the next few days while unsettled weather returns ahead of a front drifting down from the Great Lakes. Drier weather is expected on Friday, but showers and thunderstorms will return over the weekend.

Weather Hazards
Thunderstorms are expected to cross the region from the west and become strong through the afternoon. Some of these storms will be capable of producing large hail and damaging winds. Heavy rainfall and frequent lightning will be possible with any thunderstorms that develop.
**Note** A Tropical Weather Outlook section has been added to the daily weather briefing for the Atlantic Hurricane Season, and since those tend to run long when there is activity, that section has been added between the daily forecasts for the four regions of the county and the almanac section so people can get to their daily forecasts with minimal interference.
