As our country grows ever more divided, I grow ever more wary. I wonder if anyone else my age is concerned with how upside down this world and country has become. People keep having kids, keep buying houses, cars, vacationing, going on with their lives… Isn’t that what we are supposed to be doing? Sometimes I wish I could be as care free as all of my generation. Do not get me wrong, I want kids, I want a house, I do have a nice truck… But I wonder if anyone ever plays it safe.Watches the watchers as much as I do… What would you do if someone like Alexandria Cortex became president and declared a 70% tax? Could you pay to support your child and your new house? Does anyone care about the world changing all around them, and not for the better. We are being set up for failure.

Things are snowballing so quickly, should we all just try and go on with our lives? Act as if politics do not affect us? Demagogues positioning for power over us peasants.  I commonly hear ” I do not follow politics, who cares?” You should care. The Blinded, or misguided masses care more about falsely made social issues than their luxury lives they have bought by loan/ credit. Your life of luxury and god given freedoms instilled by our founding fathers and by god are being burned in a fire as we speak.

I am not a big religious man, or have not been in the past. But I found this passage, and could not help but hear it speak to me. – Luke 17-

26“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

28“It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

Has everyone turned a blind eye to everything that is sane? Everything that once was right is now wrong. That is a fact.

I often wish time would have stood still… Growing up in the early 90’s, I wanted a farm house and big family. My cautions prevent me from investing to much into this broken country, for fear of losing everything I work so hard for, and the people and family I love. In all honesty I am angry, bitter… Often wondering if I was meant for another era in time… Or maybe, I and a few others were here to witness it all fall apart.
