FACT-CHECK: Would Donald Trump Use Nuclear Weapons?

CLAIM: Donald Trump would not use nuclear weapons as president–he is the “peace president.”

ASSESSMENT: FALSE

INVESTIGATION: Mr. Trump has been very clear–if he felt the situation called for it, he would use nuclear weapons. In this pussified Everybody Gets A Trophy world we live in, bound by the chains of Political Correctness, Trump is a lion. If you think you have his measure, think again. 

• “Somebody hits us within ISIS, you wouldn’t fight back with a nuke?” he told MSNBC in March 2016. HECK YEAH.

• He would proliferate weapons to our allies to cut down on expenses. “If Japan had that nuclear threat, I’m not sure that would be a bad thing for us,” he told the New York Times. BOOYAH.

• In an interview with Chris Matthews he was asked if he’d take the use of nuclear weapons in Europe off the table. “I am not — I am not taking cards off the table.” OH SNAP!

• In the Republican primary debates he was asked about the nuclear triad: Hewitt: “Of the three legs of the triad, though, do you have a priority? I want to go to Sen. Rubio after that and ask him.”  Trump: “I think – I think, for me, nuclear is just the power, the devastation is very important to me.” DEVASTATION!!

So would Donald Trump pussy out on the nuclear question? Not on your life. Someone is going to glow in the first year of his administration. Probably one of those towel-headed regimes. Bank on It.

He’s the “peace president” the same way Islam is the religion of peace. We all know how that turned out.
