Melania Trump Rejects the #MeToo Movement’s Stance of Accusations Being Equal to Guilt

The interviewer countered her by saying that some would accuse of her not standing with women by also claiming we should support men. Melania reassured that she does stand with women, but here she diverged with the #MeToo movement entirely.

Melania is right on the money here. All we need to do is look at the way Justice Brett Kavanaugh was treated to know that the media and the mob will take things to an extreme, and send a man to the proverbial guillotine with little to no evidence.

And Kavanaugh’s not the only example. As I wrote just a few weeks ago, women have destroyed men’s lives off of accusations that were proven to be absolutely false upon further investigation:

As Thought Catalog listed 12 women in one of their articles who had been proven to lie about being their respective assaults for reasons anywhere from jealousy to attention, to masking their infidelity. Rolling Stone was so quick to buy the “rape culture” narrative that they released a bombshell article about the gang rape of a woman named “Jackie” that turned out to be completely false, with “Jackie” being a woman who had a history of making false claims for attention. In fact, being a rape victim became trendy at one point, and false claims were being made left and right, especially from the social justice parts of Hollywood.

In fact, Guardian columnist Jessica Valenti became so bold that she straight up promoted the idea of false rape accusations in order to make men afraid of women.

Melania isn’t saying anything outside the realm of sanity, and to those of us not participating in the elevation of mob justice, this “innocent before proven guilty” method of justice is the most level-headed approach we can have to every criminal case, including rape and sexual assault.
