Socialist Alexandria Cortez Needs to Crash on a Couch Before Real Job Starts

I Don’t Snore, I Swear.

I told you, people, this woman was going to be a national treasure and I WAS RIGHT. She has not even been sworn in and she is making waves.

Congressperson-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is finding out that being part of the elected elite does not come with automatic benefits. Like getting paid and affording stuff. In what will be many new and marvelous revelations for our wonder-kid elect, she can’t afford a place to crash in D.C. until she starts getting her paycheck.

She won’t be able to afford D.C. after that either but let’s not spoil the surprise.

According to CBS News…

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may be the youngest woman ever elected to Congress, but she’s still a millennial who worries about paying rent. No, really.

“I have three months without a salary before I’m a member of Congress. So, how do I get an apartment? Those little things are very real,” Ocasio-Cortez said to The New York Times this week. “We’re kind of just dealing with the logistics of it day by day, but I’ve really been just kind of squirreling away and then hoping that gets me to January.”

Ocasio-Cortez told the Times she was able to save money before leaving her restaurant job and planned for time without a paycheck with her partner. But, she isn’t being sworn into Congress until early January 2019 — and has to move from New York to D.C. in that time.

This is going to be like watching kids walk for the first time. Everything will be just a wonder with her.

I’m sure that Ms. Cortez thought that her socialist dream became a reality when she won in her New York 14th District, which covers parts of the Bronx and Queens. The harsh reality is now going to hit her that many of her new colleagues do not have separate places in D.C but actually live in their offices being they can’t afford two residences.

Maybe if we just put all the Congresspeople in a big hotel with 24/7 room service to help them along with all the great work they do for us the American people, that would help. A big socialist commune. Possibly Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could introduce that as her first bill.

New York Democrats…..THANK YOU for the gift of this lady.

She is going to be a joy to watch.
