The Ankara government is planning to set up new military bases in Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo concurrent with aggressive moves by the Turkish Army and its allied militants in the region.
“The Turkish Army has fully evacuated the residents of Dervish villages in Raju region in Afrin in Northwestern Aleppo to set a new military base there,” the Kurdish-language Hawar News website quoted a special source in Afrin as saying.
Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army’s operations in provinces across Syria.

The Kurdish-language Hawar News website quoted a special source in Afrin as saying that the Turkish Army has fully evacuated the residents of Dervish villages in Raju region in Afrin in Northwestern Aleppo to set a new military base there.
The source also pointed to the cutting off of thousands of trees in Dervish and Vejia towns in Shara region and the villages of Humam, Marvanieh Foqani and Tahtani in Western Jandaris region by Turkish Army and its allied militants, and said that Ankara is planning to build new military bases there.
Local sources in Afrin, meantime, reported that the Ankara-backed militants have torched 12,000 hectares of agricultural lands of villages of Jandaris region up to Mabtali near Afrin.
The Turkish Army has dispatched thousands of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) militants from Northern Aleppo to Hama to back up Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front), Kurdish-language media outlets said.
Kurdish-language Hawar News website reported on Sunday that the Turkish Army has sent the terrorists under its umbrella of coalition to Northern Hama from Afrin and Izaz to support Tahrir al-Sham terrorists in its battle against the Syrian Army.
It noted that a military convoy comprising hundreds of Ankara-backed militants together with weapons and military equipment have been sent to Northern Hama via Qazawiyeh crossing in Southern Afrin.
Meantime, the sources close to the terrorist groups reiterated that hundreds of FSA terrorists have moved towards Idlib to reach battlefronts in Hama. The FSA terrorists moved from Izaz, Jarablus, Al-Bab and Afrin in Northern and Northeastern Aleppo.
Meantime, the Turkish Army sent several of its troops and military equipment, including its elite forces, to the city of Qiriq Khan in Hatay region in Southern Turkey behind borders with Syria.
Tens of trucks carrying US military and logistical aids have been dispatched to the areas under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Eastern Euphrates despite declaring the end of the ISIL by Washington, media sources said.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that a convoy comprising 60 trucks containing logistic and military consignments as well as prefabricated houses was sent to Eastern Euphrates via Simalka crossing in Northern Iraq.
The SOHR also reiterated that about 20 trucks have also been sent to Kobani Airport and Kharab Ashk military base in Northern Aleppo, and said that the remaining of military aid was also sent to areas under SDF control in al-Jazira region in Deir Ezzur province.
The Syrian Army and Air Force pounded the ISIL terrorist group’s military positions in Badiyeh (desert) region of Homs province as hundreds of civilians escaped from US-controlled al-Rukban Refugee Camp in al-Tanf region of Homs province.
Over 400 refugees incarcerated by the US-backed militants in al-Rukban Camp in al-Tanf region in Eastern Homs opened their way to escape from the camp, the Arabic-language sources said on Monday.
Tens of Syrian families most of them women and children managed to flee al-Rukban Camp controlled by the SDF for areas under the Syrian Army control through Jaliqam crossing in Eastern Homs.
The military sources also reported that the Syrian Army units backed by artillery fire heavily pounded the ISIL terrorists in the surrounding areas of Humiemeh in Badiyeh al-Sukhna in Eastern Homs, killing a number of terrorists.
Meantime, the Syrian Air Force also struck the ISIL terrorists in the surrounding areas of Wadi Awirez Dam, Badiyeh al-Sukhna and near borders with Deir Ezzur, destroying several terrorist targets.
The terrorist groups launched massive offensives on the Syrian Army’s military positions in the battlefronts against the government forces in the battlefronts in Northwestern Syria despite implementation of ceasefire there, media reports said.
The Arabic-language Al-Watan newspaper quoted a Syrian Army’s military source as saying that the terrorist groups pounded the surrounding areas of the town of al-Hamamilat with rockets and mortars from several towns and villages in Northwestern Hama.
The source noted that the Syrian army’s artillery and missile units also pounded the terrorists’ military positions in al-Hawiz, Karkat, Kafar Zita, al-Jabin, Jeb Suleiman, al-Hawija, Tal al-Sokhr and al-Zuka in Northern Hama, destroying several of their military positions and hideouts.
It, meantime, said that the so-called ‘Elite Forces’ affiliated to Ankara-backed Jbahat al-Shamia have been sent to the battlefronts in Northwestern Hama.
Meantime, the terrorist groups pounded ten settlements in Lattakia, Hama and Idlib with artillery units despite the unilateral ceasefire declared by the Syrian army.
Meantime, Chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria Viktor Kupchishin said two Syrian servicemen were killed and seven more were wounded in the terrorists’ attacks.
