Sky News attempts to provide Casus Belli for FUKUS military intervention in Idlib?

On 23rd May, Sky News reported from inside #Idlib #Syria. They claimed their reporter was deliberately targeted by the Syrian Arab Army.. what they failed to report was the fact:

1. They were working in areas controlled by HTS (Al Qaeda) terrorists

2. They were accompanied by Bilal Abdul Kareem – sectarian terrorist supporter and promoter who endorses the massacres of any Syrians who do not comply with the monstrous ideology of the Saudi clerics he iconises and applauds.

3. They had entered Syria illegally via the Turkish border so there is no way the Syrian government could have been aware of their presence in a war zone, occupied and brutalised by the Al Qaeda gangs Sky News was working with.

4. They claim in the report that the Syrian Army/Airforce is systematically targeting civilians, yet in the same report they inform us the area they are in is civilian-free as they have all fled.

5. While effectively protecting the Al Qaeda terrorists with their report they fail to mention that the same terrorists who accompany them on motorbikes will have been in the attacks on SAA soldiers in Kafr Nboudeh a few days ago and are responsible for today’s attacks on children and civilians in the Syrian Christian town of #AlSkeilbiyyeh.

This is a blatant attempt by US-state media to distract from recent revelations regarding the fake chemical attack in #Douma and to, perhaps, provide casus belli for the FUKUS alliance to launch military aggression against SAA positions in Idlib. #ENOUGH these criminal media outlets must be prevented from systematically providing consent for further forever wars.

Peter Ford, former UK Ambassador to Syria had this to say: “It is surprising that Sky allowed their journalist to travel in the company of Bilal Abdulkareem, an American whom the New York Times has described as a ‘jihadist propagandist’, who has appeared on Facebook in photos where he is sporting guns, and who has said on Facebook that he believes he is on the secret target list for US drones. The presence of Al Qaida sympathiser Abdulkareem reinforces the impression that the journalist has been embedded with the Al Qaida affliated Al Nusra (aka HTS) herself.

Indeed it is almost impossible for her not to have been given that HTS alone control the area in which she says she was fired on. She herself in her piece says that all civilians had fled from the area, in which case it is hardly surprising if she was targeted. You would have to be very naive indeed to believe that Al Qaida would never stoop to camouflaging themselves as journalists or medics.”

The Damascus Army is preparing for a major military operation in Idlib province in Northwestern Syria, Arabic-language media outlets said.

“The Syrian Army’s helicopters have been dropping communiques over villages in the surrounding areas of Idlib asking people to evacuate those regions before the Army kicks off its massive liberation operation,” the Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army’s operations in provinces across Syria.

Idlib

The Syrian Army is preparing for a major military operation in Idlib province in Northwestern Syria, Arabic-language media outlets said.

The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported that the Syrian Army’s helicopters have been dropping communiques over villages in the surrounding areas of Idlib asking people to evacuate those regions before the Army kicks off its massive liberation operation.

Meantime, the Syrian Army’s artillery and missile units heavily pounded military positions and movements of Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and other terrorist groups in the towns of al-Hobait and Kafr Naboudeh in Northwestern Hama, destroying several of their military vehicles and hardware as well as killing and wounding a large number of the militants.

Homs

The Syrian Army and Air Force heavily pounded the military positions and movements of the ISIL terrorists in Eastern Badiyeh (desert) in Homs province, inflicting heavy losses on the remaining elements of the terrorist groups.

The Syrian Army engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL terrorists in the surrounding areas of al-Bashri Mount and also outskirts of Humeimem region in Eastern Badiyeh, killing several terrorists.

Meantime, the Syrian Army’s artillery units pounded the ISIL’s military positions in the battlefronts, destroying several of their military vehicles and killing all the terrorists inside.

The Syrian warplanes launched consecutive attacks against the ISIL near Jabal al-Bashri and along the desert region of Badiyeh al-Sukhneh to the provincial border with Deir Ezzur province, inflicting heavy losses and casualties on them.

Hasaka

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are killing and injuring residents of al-Hawl Refugee Camp in Southeastern Hasaka as they were trying to flee the camp due to unfavorable humanitarian and hygienic conditions, media activists said.

The activists in Hasaka province said that the SDF has opened fire at a group of women and children who were attempting to abandon Hasaka’s al-Hawl Refugee Camp.

They pointed to the death and injury of a number of civilians by SDF, and said that several residents of al-Hawl Camp have been incarcerated.

The sources noted that the SDF has imposed tight security measures in al-Hawl refugee camp and laid it under siege, and said the SDF’s measures come among concerns that the situation is ripe for uprising by the refugees while large groups are seeking to escape from the camp.

They also pointed to the very critical conditions of al-Hawl Camp, acute shortage of foodstuff and drinking water, and said that a large number of al-Hawl residents need urgent treatment available outside the camp.
