Far-Right Helps to Place Mayors Across Spain

Thanks to the right’s mature spirit of unity, a number of party deals helped to form more than 8,000 city councils in Spain. In many cases, rightist mayors have elected thanks to pacts with what corporate media smears as far-right Vox, who became a key player to facilitate the ultra-conservative placements. The Popular Party constantly kicking pseudo-socialist butt is said to have its origins in General Francisco Franco’s Spain.

The recent and successful storming of Madrid council was the Right’s jewel in the Spanish crown. Madrid, the heartland of political Spain, was a Macron-like socialist (globalist) stronghold. There, the conservative Popular Party (PP) regained the mayor’s office after four years of leftist rule, thanks to a pact with the liberals of Ciudadanos (Citizens, C’s) and the support of Vox Party.

Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida, the Popular Party’s (conservative) main candidate in the municipal (and EU) elections in May, is as from last Saturday the new mayor of the Spanish capital, thanks to a pact forged after complicated negotiations with Ciudadanos (Citizens) and Vox.

Meanwhile, the Spanish Supreme Court has denied the leader of the Catalan Republican Left (ERC), Oriol Junqueras, permission to leave prison to attend a ceremony at the National Electoral Commission (JEC) on 17 June, where he would be sworn in as a member of the EU Parliament, El Pais reported.
