Joy Behar: Trump Should Be Charged with a Crime for the Crowd’s ‘Send Her Back’ Chant

At a Trump rally Wednesday night, some in the crowd burst into a bit of “Send her back!”

The mantra was, of course, a reference to The Donald’s series of tweets against the congressional Freshmen Fab Four:

So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly……

As reported by RedState’s Brandon Morse, the President claims not to have liked the chant:

Someone who liked it even less: The View’s Joy Behar.

On Thursday, the left-wing host, in fact, questioned whether or not the Leader of the Free World could be sued or charged with a crime for the outburst.

Seriously — she really did.

So what law did Trump break? According to Joy, he incited violence toward Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, and cowfart fighter Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Whoopi also characterized it as “possibly inviting violence.”

But back to Joy…from the horse’s mouth:

“He doesn’t care or doesn’t acknowledge the fact that what he is doing is possibly inviting violence towards these women, and women who are saying this is wrong. I don’t like this.”

She then offered this:

“Why can’t he be brought up on charges of hate speech? Why can’t he be sued by the ACLU for hate speech?”

It should be noted that “hate speech” is legal. It’s otherwise known at “free speech.”

It’s also a marvel that an organization for “civil liberties” would sue someone for speaking.

This wasn’t the first time the program’s broached the notion of an arrested Commander-in-Chief.

In March, former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara deeply disappointed the gals on ABC’s long-running talker by saying Trump wouldn’t be taken away in cuffs courtesy of the Mueller investigation (here).

Megan noted Joy’s disappointment:

“A lot of people in the country, like Joy, are hoping that the President is going to be walking out of the White House in handcuffs when all of this is over.”

Well, a girl can dream, can’t she?
