The M1950 Five Man Arctic Tent! I had been looking for one of these for years! I ended up trading for one from a guy. I ended up with a really nice tent, and made a good friend from the trade! I have yet to use this tent, but as it was set up when I bought it, I could tell from the double lined walls and stitching this tent was keeping me toasty on a cool fall day just sitting inside it. I  can only imagine when I finally get a tent stove installed in it how hot this thing will get! Originally made for the Korean war, many of these tents had not seen war. But they are getting harder and harder to find in good enough shape to use! With a single pole, and light enough for one man to pack in, if you see one of these and do a lot of back woods winter camping BUY IT!

A good companion to this tent is the USGI Extreme Cold Down Sleeping Bag! I bought 2 of these after a miserable winter camping trip with my wife! She said NEVER AGAIN! were we going to freeze on the ground. Well she was right! These things are very comfortable! And SUPER warm! I bought both together for $80 bucks. After a good dry cleaning, the down is as good as new. Pair this with a army cot and a hot stove in a M1950 tent, you will most likely cook yourself out of the tent! BUT! hot is better than freezing is what I say! If you see these sleeping bags I highly recommend buying them!
