Beck said that the focus of the rally — to pay tribute to America’s military personnel and others “who embody our nation’s founding principles of integrity, truth and honor”.  Yet, military people lie to themselves so they don’t have to lie to others.  One can talk himself into believing anything.  What the military in guilty of is institutional stupidity, and deliberate ignorance.

You can’t go invade other nations and slaughter its defenders in a officious and professional manner and then say you have integrity, truth and honor.  You have decided to surrender all moral responsibility for yourself and place it in the hands of lying, thieving, opportunistic, demagogues whose political, military and economic decisions are all based on what will keep them in power.

There are many truths Glenn Beck won’t tell you. The U.S. supported freedom for the Moro tribesmen of the Philipines while they were battaling Spanish imperialism, but when the U.S. defeated Spain in a battle for imperial expansion, Spain ceded control of the Philipines to the U.S.

Suddenly, the freedom from imperial control the U.S. encouraged gave way to a full-fleged U.S. invasion of the Philipines with war crimes that shocked other military men and led to others being relieved of command.  Tens of thousands of Philipino men, women and children died.

Beck omits these considerations while confusing intergrity, truth and honor for blind loyalty in the execution of war crimes so as to allow its perpetrators to falsely claim no personal moral responsibility. 

If a hitman for the mob refused to cooperate with police after getting caught making a hit and refuses to talk, he has no intergrity, he is not truthful, and surely has no honor.  What he has is loyalty to the mob.  The same is true of military men who kill and slaughter without investigating the rightousness of the cause. 

What Beck is doing is honoring imperial soldiers in the same manner and for the same things Germans honored their fighting men and their dead.  You can’t tell the truth and say, “Look at the fools who died for our lies and so we, the power elite, can be rich and powerful.   

Palin began mouthing platitiudes about her being the mother of a soldier and supporting the Iraq War.  She again lies to the American people about the war and Saddam’s WMDs, connections to 9/11, and his ficticious support for al Qaeda.  When she first prefaces all her bellocisty with the acknowledgement that Saddam never attacked the U.S., did not have WMDs she claimed, and has no connection to 9/11 or al Qaeda, then maybe we can at least know she started her speech without lying to herself.

Then Beck and Palin invoke God into our wars for imperial hegemony with typical boilerplate nonsense about fascist “national greatness”.

The U.S. turned its back on God with the genocide of the Indians.  It cared not that it starved women and children in a war of extermination and again lied about its motives and justifications.

Glen Beck is at his Orwellian best when he begins talking about intergrity, truth and honor while at the same time espousing national greatness through the prosecution of imperial war.  It is the fact that he encourages his listeners to hold two contradictory thought in their head at the same time without recognizing the cognitive dissonance caused by holding conflicting ideas simultaneously.  It is this absurdity that allows others the rationalizations needed to commit atrocities. 

Palin has no understanding of economics and this writer would bet his life she can’t explain the Keynesian or Austrian economic theory, nor does she understand collateral debt obligations, credit default swaps, bimetallism, or fractional reserve banking.  Neither Beck nor Palin mentions how Federal Reserve counterfeiting has made wage slaves of Americans and is leading to the destruction of our nation.

Thomas Jefferson wrote, “All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America arise not from the defects of the Constitution, not from want of honor or virtue, so much as from downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit and circulation.”  But, what has Beck or Palin done to educate Americans as to the nature of such?  How much have they written and spoke of such?  Ron Paul has spent his life explaining economics and fighting for economic and political liberty.

Beck then went on to promote the Trotskyite lies about Lincoln who resolved political questions with the greatest slaughter of Americans, a full-blown dictatorship, and the creation of an imperial central government.

Neither Beck nor Palin take issue with America’s support for dictators, the overthrowing of democracies by the U.S., or the murder by secret government agencies specifically created to violate the very laws our government has created.

Beck has used a messianic message speaking of times when America was a decent nation.  I guess that was when it decided to wage a war of extermination against Indians.  Or maybe it was when its armies raped, killed, and pillaged civilians in the south.  Maybe it was when we told the Vietnamese they could not have the type of economic system they wanted and then killed three million people.  Maybe it was when we were has the Iranian Prime Minister overthrown and his entire cabinet executed by blowing up mosques and blaming it on PM Mohammed  Mossedech.  Maybe we were a decent nation when we gave Saddam chemical weapons to use on his own people.  Maybe we were a just nation when we decided to support Saddam’s aggressive war against Iran in which a million Iranians died.  Maybe the U.S. was a just nation when Bush was in charge and said stated we would attack any nation to prevent them from even being able to defend themselves against the U.S.  Maybe the U.S. was a better nation when we sold out Eastern Europe as a favor to Ole Uncle Joe.

We have not even mentioned torture, theft of trillions by private banks, and billions stolen in Iraq.  It leave me to wonder what historical timeframe Beck is referring to.  No empire was ever built without it being based on the mass slaughter of humanity.  You cannot have statism and a professional army and militarized government run by crypto-fascists placing the nation on a permanent wartime footing and expect liberty and justice to survive.

Beck never mentioned a word about the slaughter and coverup at Waco.  He never mentioned the execution of Randy Weaver’s wife and son by the FBI, nor did he mention the FBI’s murder and coverup of Jesse Trentadue who the FBI mistook as one of the OKC bombers working with McVeigh.  The FBI beat and tortured Trentadue to death whilethe government and all its officials conspired against the American people.  Why didn’t Beck and Palin mention civil liberties?  IT seeks they only want “national greatness” that comes from military domination.  If the people fall for their lies, we will be engaged in eternal war for eternal peace while Americans work as slaves for the warfare/welfare fascist state.

Glenn Beck is another demagogue who just thinks if everybody did as he says, or if he had the power to make others do as he says, the world would be a better place.  This is utopian thinking.  Name me one person who does not think he could make the world a better place.  Yey, no matter who is in charge, the system still produces people like John McCain.

Palin keeps talking about America and its decency, yet it was her running mate’s father, John  McCain Sr., who whitewashed the slaughter of American sailors by Israel on the U.S. liberty to earn his son Zionist support for his senate seat.

As long as America is a militaristic nation it will be the antithesis of what it means to have integrity, honor, or truthfulness, as the first casualty in any war it truth  Declaring an area a free-fire zone and then machine-gunning noncombatants, torturing children, or murdering prisoners while they are bound and gagged will never bring honor to any nation no matter how much the military brass tries to spit-shine it.  You can never polish a turd.

Palin and Beck do not want the rule of law; they want the rule of powerful men.  The Geneva Convention says torture is illegal and if committed punishable by death.  Yet, both supported torture.  The U.N. stated that going to war for regime charge is a war crime, but neither said a word about this issue.  As far as torture is concerned, our nation was never in danger of being destroyed or conquered, and both still advocated torture.  The Geneva Convention and U.N. laws do not say torture is okay if people are terrorists or Muslim, it says torture is a crime against humanity punishable by death.  Will any leader from the U.S every stand trial for war crimes?  I guess, if you consider PFC Lynndie England a leader.  While her actions never caused a single death, Stan McCrystal’s minions beat people to death as part of his orders, job, and official policy.

As Orwell said, “To see what is in front of one’s nose needs a constant struggle. One thing that helps toward it is to keep a diary, or, at any rate, to keep some kind of record of one’s opinions about important events. Otherwise, when some particularly absurd belief is exploded by events, one may simply forget that one ever held it. Political predictions are usually wrong. Does Palin’s or Beck’s worldview version stand up to reality?  Not so much.  But, they are willing to believe everything they say to get you to buy their B.S.

We can belive Palin’s and Beck’s absurdities and platitudes, or we can acknowledge reality. 

As Orwell wrote, “The point is that we are all capable of believing things which we know to be untrue, and then, when we are finally proved wrong, impudently twisting the facts so as to show that we were right. Intellectually, it is possible to carry on this process for an indefinite time: the only check on it is that sooner or later a false belief bumps up against solid reality, usually on a battlefield.”

And so this is where we find ourselves as the elite pay one half of the masses to kill the other half.
