The Signs of The Feasts - Part I: Christ Told The Pharisees The Time of His Return
Much of the Christian world in the west knows very little of the ancient Hebrew customs, culture, and their idioms. For several generations Christians have been taught that we do not need to know the Old Testament because we are under the New Testament.
This teaching could not be more wrong because the New Testament is straight out of the Old Testament. We cannot understand the New Testament, the New Covenant without first knowing the Old Covenant.
The Bible was written to the Hebrew people: first as the Torah (Law), Neviim (Writings), and Ketuvim (Prophets) (the TNK / TaNaKh); and then as the writings of the apostles and disciples of Christ (the New Testament).
Christ was a Jew, of the tribe of Judah (Heb. 7:14; Rev. 5:5). He was sent to the tribes of Israel (Matt. 15:23). His disciples were Galileans (Acts 2:5,7), which were mostly of the tribe of Benjamin which had populated Galilee at the southern tip of the northern kingdom. Paul was of the tribe of Benjamin (Phil. 3:5). (1)
The disciples knew the customs, manners, and sayings of the Jews. As students of the Bible, it behooves us to become familiar with the Hebraic idioms and customs so that we can more fully understand what Christ (a Jew) was saying to His disciples (Benjamites).
Christ came into the world at the fullness of time (Gal. 4:4) while the Mosaic Law was still in effect. He observed the feasts, and kept the law, as did His disciples. The bond or “handwriting of ordinances” was nailed to the cross in AD 30-31 (Col 2:14), but the Law was still in practice during that time of transition (probate) while the gospel of the Kingdom was being preached throughout the known world (Roman empire). Therefore, Christ’s words must be considered in light of the Hebraic idioms and customs and their culture under the Mosaic covenant. The English speaking Western readers have missed some very significant clues by ignoring the Hebraic /Jewish idioms of the first century A.D.
Christ knew when He would return to them, and He told His disciples the very day and hour.
1 Thess. 5:1-2, “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.“ (KJV)
Paul told those of the assembly in Thessalonica that he didn’t have to tell them of the time of Christ’s return because THEY KNEW IT. So, what did they know that we are missing by just reading the scriptures literally?
“Blessed is he who is coming in the name of the Lord”
In the context of the judgment pronounced against the scribes and Pharisees, and of the destruction of Jerusalem we find in Matt.23:39 that Christ told them,
“For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” (KJV)
Christ told the scribes and Pharisees that they would “see him” when they would say “Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord”.
The Jews knew immediately what that phrase referred to as they had been practicing it since the return from the Babylonian captivity in the three annual pilgrimages to Jerusalem for Pesach (Passover), Shavuot (Feast of Weeks / Pentecost), and the Sukkot (Feast of Booths / Tabernacles).
During these three pilgrimages the Psalms 113 – 118 were sung in the temple. Psa. 118:26 was chanted from the rooftops and parapets of the walls to welcome the traveling caravans as they journeyed upward through the hills and valleys toward Jerusalem. The people chanted it as Christ entered Jerusalem before the Passover of His crucifixion (Matt. 21:9).
Excerpt from Keil & Delitzsch Commentary on Psa. 118: 26, para. 7, lines 5-11:
“…they scattered palm branches at the same time, like the lulabs at the joyous cry of the Feast of Tabernacles, and saluted Him with the cry, “Blessed is He who cometh in the name of the Lord,” as being the longed-for guest of the Feast (Matthew 21:9). According to the Midrash, in Psalm 118:26 it is the people of Jerusalem who thus greet the pilgrims. In the original sense of the Psalm, however, it is the body of Levites and priests above on the Temple-hill who thus receive the congregation that has come up.” Source: Biblehub
Ellicott’s Commentary on Psa. 118:26:
“—These words of welcome are probably spoken by the Levite in charge, to the procession approaching the gates. According to Rabbinical writings, pilgrim caravans were thus welcomed on their arrival at Jerusalem.” Source: Biblehub
From Christ in the Passover, by Ceil and Moishe Rosen, pp. 57-58:
“On the fourteenth of Nisan, the slaughter of the Passover lambs took place…..The Levites killed the lambs at the signal of the silver trumpets sounded by the priests. Then they removed the fat and burned it. ….While all this was happening, the Levitical choir chanted Hallel, the recitation of Psalms 113 – 118. The congregation joined the liturgy by repeating the first line of each psalm after the Levites sang it. They also chanted the words Hallelu Yah (praise ye the Lord) at the end of every line. When the priests came to Psalm 118, the congregation repeated vs. 25 and 26 (KJV):
Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord [Hoshia-Na, or Hosanna]: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
Luke 2:41-42, “Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.“ (KJV)
When Christ told the scribes and Pharisees that they would not see Him afterward until they “shall say ‘Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord“, He was referencing the time of the Passover feast, as that would have been the first feast of the year when those words would be said / sung. It was also the last pilgrimage feast that was attended before the siege of Jerusalem in A.D. 70.
I have repeatedly shown in the studies at my blog (ShreddingTheVeil ) that Christ told them He would return in that generation (Matt. 23:36; 24:34), and that Christ told His disciples that some would still be living when they saw the son of Man coming in His kingdom (Matt. 16:28), and He told them that John would live to see His coming (John 21:22-23), then we can know assuredly His return happened in the first century A.D. (3)
And, now, from the application of the song of Psa. 118:26 we know that Christ told the scribes and Pharisees when the time of their judgment would be poured out – at Passover.
Matt:23:35-36, “That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.“ (KJV)
That judgment was promised to the scribes and Pharisees who killed the prophets and apostles that Christ sent to them. It began when they said, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord” at Pesach (Passover) in A.D. 70 when the Romans waited for the gates of the city to be shut before encompassing Jerusalem and laying siege. (1) Judas Iscariot was half of the tribe of Judah, and half Moabite. Iscariot is from the Greek “Ish Kerioth” meaning “man of Kerioth”. From Joshua 15:25, Kerioth was one of the cities given to the sons of Judah. Kerioth was the capital of Moab, south of Judah. Amos 2:2 is a prophesy of the destruction of Moab and the palaces of Kerioth, Num. 24:17 prophesied of the sceptre that would rise out of Judah and smite Moab.

Gina – The Jews have formally declared/admitted in both the Jewish Almanac and in the Jewish Encyclopedia that the Jews are neither Hebrew, nor Israelites (see below) and consequently, assuming Jesus was an Israelite, Jesus also was NOT a Jew, but rather a Hebrew. This is also provable using the Bible itself as we shall see.
As shown below, God intentionally designed there to be constant infighting between two seed-lines of humanity until the last days.
God’s chosen people were of the pure-bred GOOD bloodline from Adam/Seth, beginning with Jacob = Israel. However, as seen below in spades, the Jews (whose ancestors were the Pharisees) come through the mixed physical bloodline of 1) the pure-bred EVIL bloodline of the fallen angels/the Serpent/Cain/the Pharisees, and 2) the pure-bred Adamite GOOD bloodline of Abraham [or more specifically his descendant Esau (brother of Jacob = Israel) who mated with women of cain's seed-line, and because of this was expelled from his native land, and thus the Jews never had a valid claim to the land of Israel/Judea, and they formally admitted to this in both the Jewish Almanac and in the Jewish Encyclopedia (see below)]. Many will recall from Genesis 6:4 and 1 Enoch that the so called son’s of God had sex with women, which resulted in both giants and normal looking people of the evil seed bloodlines. The evil seed bloodlines had a fascination with mixing species of both creatures and plants (as do the Jews today with their GMO’s and Trans-humanism fascinations – thus Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be”). Activities of these so called watchers are described in the Old Testament, Jewish Midrash, 1 Enoch, The Book of Jubilees, 2 Enoch, Jasher, and in Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs.

Each comment by HypothesisFree at the above link is relevant to understanding the proper context of this sufficiently complex subject matter, not the least of which is proof that 1 Enoch absolutely must be considered as Bible scripture. This set of five books was highly prevalent amongst the earliest known Bible canons which preceded the Constantine canon, and as shown, is still preserved in two Christian Bible canons in use today. Jesus quotes from 1 Enoch nearly word for word in Jude, and refers to Enoch as a prophet. Also proven is that original Bible scripture cannot change or be thrown out, even in accordance with modern day Bibles, without making a mockery of the Bible itself.
Another popular objection is the Bible’s claim that the Angels in heaven do not pro-create … which is true, simply because all Angels are males, and in fact have male names. However, both Genesis 6:4 and 1 Enoch make it clear that they were able to and in fact did have sex with and have offspring with Adamite women.
“In those days, when the children of man had multiplied, it happened that there were born unto them handsome and beautiful daughters. And the angels, the children of heaven , saw them and desired them; and they said to one another, ‘Come, let us choose wives for ourselves from among the daughters of man and beget us children.’ And Semyaz, being their leader, said unto them,’I fear that perhaps you will not consent that this deed should be done, and I alone will become (responsible) for this great sin.’ But they all responded to him, ‘Let us all swear an oath and bind everyone among us by a curse not to abandon this suggestion but to do the deed.’ Then they all swore together and bound one another by (the curse) And they were altogether two hundred;” – 1 Enoch 6:1-7
Jasher also confirms that hybridization and race-mixing were the very evils that were going on before Noah’s Flood:

The fact is that MANY GIANTS resided among the Canaanites AFTER THE FLOOD, and these were the very descendants of the pre-Flood Rephaim. The Tribe of Gath was composed of giants; and Goliath was one of the last surviving members of this tribe.

Originally, all of Gods creatures were vegetarian, and in the book of Enoch we learn that it was God’s fallen angels (also translated as God/Gods in the Bible) who instituted animal sacrifice and the eating of meat, not God the father. Jeremiah 7:22 (KJV): “For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices”
Hosea, Micah, and Malachi proclaim the same. The temple in old Jerusalem was not intended for animal sacrifice, but rather for pure oblation.
David in the Psalms Chapter 51 said; if God wanted sacrifice I would have offered it but He delights not in the blood of bulls and goats.
“Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your judgments are like the great deep; you save humans and animals alike, O Lord.” —Psalms 36:6
“How long will the land mourn, and the grass of every field wither? For the wickedness of those who live in it the animals and the birds are swept away, and because people said, ‘He is blind to our ways.’” —Jeremiah 12:4
Furthermore, God the father issued a stronger penalty for the sin of eating meat than for murder. God tried to give the vegetarian diet to His newly formed church in the wilderness and as they rejected the Manna from heaven, God punished them by raining quails on them from which they died:
“As they sinned yet more against Him by provoking the Most High in the wilderness. And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust. And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them corn of heaven. Men did eat [fallen] angels food [meat]: He sent them meat to the full and gave them over to their desire. They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouth, The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.”—Psalms 78:17-31.
So here, even AFTER the fall of man, God the father not only calls out the act of eating of meat as a SIN, but issues a much stiffer penalty than what Cain received for murder! Could it be that in Gods eyes, animals are more innocent/noble creatures than are human beings?

To be clear, whenever the Bible uses the word Jew, you should replace it with the phrase “pure-bred Israelite”.

9 Behold, I will make them [Pharisees who are a hybrid mix of both the physical seed-line of Abraham and the Serpent - see above] of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews [or more accurately pure-bred Israelites], and are not, but do lie; [Mary on the other hand is assumed to be of the pure-bred Israelite line, and thus so is Jesus]. Since only Jews are associated with synagogues, Jesus is clearly stating here that the Jews are NOT God’s chosen people, but rather the Jews are Satan’s chosen people.
Genesis 3:15 (KJV) – And I will put enmity between thee [the Serpent] and the woman [Eve via Adams pure seed-line], and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
These two seed-lines were to be in a vicious circle of constant war with each-other until the end days (see also Matthew 13 which TOTALLY NAILS THIS regarding the tares [the serpent/Cain/Pharisee/Jew EVIL seed-line] and the wheat [Adam/Seth GOOD seed-line]).
Taken as a whole, Jesus is clearly declaring that the Pharisees and the Jews are bloodline Luciferians. A study of Judaism writings (Babylonian Talmud and the Kabbalah) prove Jesus to be absolutely correct in declaring this.

The end of the world scenario you are steeped has been used to deceive the entire world to think that we have to support the state of Israel so that Christ can come again. What I found out is that words with the letter “J” are just spelled differently, using an “I” instead of a “J”. So their assertion that Jesus was not a Jew is an outright lie.

CORRECTION: Additional research seems to indicate that Jesus was in fact NOT a Jew, and likewise, neither were the Israelites. What we have are Hebrew/Greek mis-translations which should have been translated to “Judean”. In addition, historians have demonstrated that Jews were NEVER Judeans. I was actually aware of this historic fact all along, but was so pissed when I learned of the apparent false claim that the word Jew was not in the original King James Bible, and that it is clearly mis-leading to state this mis-statement as proof that Jesus was not a Jew.

Gina, I have now read your article: “The Book of Enoch – Fable or True”. It contains some fallacies in logic. For example your argument that “species bear and propagate after their kind. Elephants do not begat lions. Chimpanzees do not begat ostriches. Women do not begat hybrids of fallen angels.”
Simply because any given species will NORMALLY breed with their own kind does NOT mean that cross-breeding NEVER occurs. Google animal cross breeding, and you will quickly discover many instances of animal cross-breeding which HAVE occurred yielding NEW SPECIES.
Another logical fallacy is to assume that your interpretation of Genesis 6:1-6 is the ONLY possibly-valid interpretation.
The Book of Enoch was considered as scripture in the Epistle of Barnabas and by many of the early Church Fathers, such as Athenagoras,[24] Clement of Alexandria,[25] Irenaeus[26] and Tertullian. This fact ALONE irrefutably establishes that the book(s) of Enoch is/are INDEED a subset of Christian Bible scripture. Clearly God left it to the early church leaders to discern what is scripture. The Bible declares:
- “As for God, his way [or method of inspiring scripture] is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless….” (Psalm 18:30)
- “All scripture is given by inspiration of God.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
- “… I [God] will put my words in his [the prophet's] mouth” (Deuteronomy 18:18)
If this is true, then what has been inspired and later recognized as scripture (through God’s perfect word for word way of inspiring scripture) cannot change or arbitrarily be thrown out (not even under the pretext that it was not inspired), for any Christian canon, because we have been assured right in the Bible itself that all officially recognized Christian scripture was already perfect to begin with. The Bible also proclaims that Gods words will not pass away (Mark 13:31).
Granted, the Bible also states in Deuteronomy that there will be false prophets who will claim to speak inspired words of God. However, to be clear, many ‘inspired words of God’ (spoken by prophets) are not considered to be ‘Bible scripture’ – these are not one and the same. So it would be patently false to conclude that the Bible is saying here that alleged inspired words of false prophets would EVER be included in any Christian Bible/canon.
On the other hand, imagine the Bible credibility issues that would be created if Christians were to argue, that words of false prophets would continually attempt to attack, corrupt, or even destroy the Bible, and that at times these blasphemy’s would become part of Bible scripture. And all during this process the Bible would be preached as ‘the perfect word of God’?
So when some later church fathers denied the canonicity of Enoch (which has been preserved and still considered scripture by both the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and the Eritrean Orthodox Church), and several other scriptural books, it was like saying that the original Bible was not perfectly inspired, which is CLEARLY a mockery of the Bible verses cited above, and therefore was erroneous. The fact that the present day KJV Bible now contains ONLY “66″ books after the removal of these books indicates further that this was a Luciferian effort, and done in error of Gods perfect way.
Evidence that the phrase “sons of God” refers to Angels:
1) The view that the sons of God were angels is very ancient. In the first century A.D., Flavius Josephus in his Antiquities of the Jews (1:3:1) held the position that angels co-habited with women. Later authors such as Philo of Alexandria (early first century A.D.) also held this position as did many rabbinical authorities. The Genesis Apocryphon, among the Dead Sea Scrolls, states this angelic interpretation.
Furthermore, many Christian interpreters also took this position. These include: Justin, Clement of Alexandria, Tertullian, Cyprian, and Ambrose.
2) There is also the testimony from another ancient source. The Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament begun around 250 B.C., gives some support to the angelic view. Some of the manuscripts containing Genesis 6:2 read angels of God rather than sons of God.
3) A third ancient source that testifies to this view are the apocryphal books (books written during the biblical period but not accepted as Scriptural). 1 Enoch (written about 200 B.C) in chapters 6 and 7 says that 200 angels lusted after human women and produced giants.
The Book of Jubilees, dated 100 B.C., speaks of angels coming to earth to help humankind. Jubilees reports that these angels became consumed with lust and produced a race of giants (7:21-25).
The Testament of the Twelve Patriarchs, 2 Enoch 18, and 2 Baruch 56 also testify that Genesis 6 speaks of angels being punished for their sin.
4) The Hebrew phrase (bene ha’elohim) translated sons of God (Genesis 6:2,4) is a technical construction. When this phrase is used elsewhere in the Old Testament (Job 1:6; 2:1;38:7; Daniel 3:25 has the same expression in the singular) it always refers to angels. See also a similar phrase in Psalm 29:1; 89:7 where the text obviously refers to angels. Likewise, in the rabbinic literature, the phrase always refers to angels, never to men. When, therefore, we find the expression without any explanatory addition, we should not attribute to it a meaning other than that which it normally has in the Bible. Therefore, it’s a reference to angels, not humans.
5) The angel view is not refuted by Christ’s statement that angels do not marry (Matthew 22:30; Mark 12:25; Luke 20:35,36). First, Jesus says angels in heaven cannot marry. This does not preclude the angels who came down to earth from marrying. Second, though angels are deathless and have no need to perpetuate their own species, the fallen angels may seek to produce another species through women. Third, angels are only spoken of in the masculine gender. They have no possibility of marriage among their own kind, but this does not necessarily preclude them from having a relationship with human beings.
6) New Testament passages seems to link angels with perversion in Noah’s day:
By whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is eight souls, were saved through water (1 Peter 3:19,20).
The question is, To whom did Christ preach after His resurrection? The spirits have been interpreted as fallen angels. The fallen angels are identified as those who were disobedient at the time of Noah. This connects them to Genesis 6:4. Jesus went to the place where they were imprisoned and spoke to them. Christ did not announce salvation to these fallen angels-the Bible does not speak of angels having the gospel preached to them. More likely, Jesus proclaimed His victory over death and their eventual doom. Therefore, this verse connects the disobedient spirits with the judgment of the Flood.
And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own habitation, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in similar manner to these, having given themselves over to immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire (Jude 6,7).
Jude, like Peter, gives past examples of the Lord’s judgment. He speaks of angels who did not keep their proper domain but did something out of the ordinary. This seems to refer to the angels who sinned before the Flood. God has reserved for these angels a place in darkness where they are bound with chains awaiting the judgment day. It seems that some fallen angels are in bondage while others are unbound and active among humanity as demons.
Immediately after the reference to angels in this Jude passage is the example of Sodom and Gomorrah. This clearly refers to sexual sin. Jude links the angels’ sin as similar to the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah. Two things stand out. These is masculine in Greek. According to the rules of Greek grammar, it must refer to something masculine, like angels. The Greek word for cities is in the feminine gender, therefore it cannot be a reference to it.
Though angels do not normally marry, Jude’s comment may help explain the situation. He says they left their own habitation implying they occupied another habitation. This could mean intermarriage with women.
Angels do not need have physical bodies though at times they have assumed bodies and have appeared in bodily form. In Genesis 19 angelic messengers, in the form of men, visited Sodom. The men of the city, motivated by their and supposing messengers to be men, wanted to have them sexually. Therefore they went after different flesh. God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by raining fire and brimstone on these cities.
It would be easier to reply to one topic at a time. You are drawing conclusions from presumptions based upon previous conclusions based upon misunderstandings. So all of the conclusions drawn from the 1st misunderstanding are all in error.
The angels – messengers – the word just means messengers – malak in Hebrew or angelos in Greek – can be either those heavenly beings that do the will of the Father ( Psa. 103:20), so they are included in those sons of God that follow after the Spirit of God. That does not mean that the only messengers are the heavenly ones. The apostles were messengers, as were the prophets, the priests who relayed the Father’s commands to the people… any one He chooses to send out His word was a messenger / angel.
Malachi’s name is taken from the Heb. malak for messenger or “angel”.
But to draw conclusions from the writings of fallible men that contradict the Holy Scriptures of God’s word is a very bad practice. All writings of men have to be filtered against God’s word first. If they fail, then you have to throw out the bad info, or discard the whole. I have found many statements of the “church fathers” to be completely wrong.
The last days mentioned in the Bible were always the last days of the tribes of Israel! Gen 49:1-1-27 details what would happen and did happen to each of the tribes. But. vs. 8-12 specifically concerned Judah, and that Judah would remain until the “Seed” came. When Christ came into this world was the time of the last of the tribes of Israel, and therefore the last days spoken of in both the OT & NT.
All of the posts at my blog are primarily concerned with correcting the misunderstanding of the “last days”. And, as Christ said that all of the things were to happen in that generation, we can take it to the bank that both of first and 2nd coming happened in that generation. They were the last days of the old Mosaic sacrificial covenant. Because Christ’s sacrifice meant that there was no other sacrifice that would be acceptable to the Father, and therefore Jerusalem and that temple were no longer necessary.
Christ was manifested in the 1st cent. AD, and He was manifested in “these last days” according to 1 Pet. 1:20, so the 1st cent. AD were the last days. A=B=C. See all 10 posts of It’s Not The End of The World.
When Christ told the thief on the cross that he would be with Him in Paradise that day, Christ went into the Paradise / Abraham’s Bosom that was the part of Hades pictured in Luke 16 in the story of Lazarus and the rich man. Christ preached to those waiting in Paradise (the prison of Hades – 1 Pet. 3:19) the same things He told His disciples – that the kingdom was at hand. It was Christ who held the keys to Hades (Rev. 1:18) and only He could open those doors to let them out. That is what He did after the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, and was the fulfillment of Matt. 25:31-46). Hades would not prevail (Matt. 16:18) against His church / assembly, and as His assembly is existing today and has existed since His death on the cross, then Hades is gone (Rev. 20:14).

Angels that did not keep their proper place – I know most ppl assume this refers to the “fallen angels” from heaven theory – but the actual word in the Greek is “office” and those that did not keep their place were those who stepped out of the position of authority God had assigned to them – most likely the priests under the old covenant.
The section in 2 Pet 3 is listed with instances of judgment carried out upon wicked men, and yet ppl want to read that one part as though that judgment was about “angels” from heaven. That belief also stems from mysticism and Babylonian Kabalism.

All of this “reasoning” breaks apart for a very simple reason. The prophesy Grabriel explained to Daniel was for Daniels people – “thy holy people” and Daniel’s city – “thy holy city” – which were the Jews and Jerusalem. The prophesy was only speaking about those children of Israel returning from the Babylonian captivity and their city Jerusalem.

Let’s say that after your grandmother died, you found a diary she had written as a young girl before she met and married your grandfather. In that diary she wrote of her dream / hope to visit Paris soon – maybe in a year or so. She wrote of places she wanted to see, and things she wanted to do while on that trip. Her diary ended before she actually took that trip. When you read her words that she wrote maybe 70 years ago, do you read it as though the word “soon” still means “soon” at the time you read? Or do you recognize that the time element was for the day she wrote in her diary? Do you read her hopes and dreams as though they are still future to you? Or, do you recognize that they applied to her day and her time and that her trip happened long before you were even born?
That is what has been done to God’s word. The Rothschilds and their Zionist agents have twisted the scriptures to make everyone look at the Bible with the wrong perspective. The words “soon”, “at hand”, “near”, and “shortly” were written almost 2,000 years ago!
Do you think they have meant “soon”, and “near” every year for 2,000 years? Or, did they mean they were soon events foretold for those living at the time they were spoken and written? First audience perspective.
Christ was telling them about events that were to unfold in THEIR lifetime – not ours. It is recorded for our benefit so that we can know assuredly that Christ won the victory; so that we can know assuredly how to be reconciled to the Father through His Son.
But, Christ fulfilled all of the prophesies of the OT! He is already ruling at the right hand of the Father, and His kingdom is over all the kingdoms of the world. He came in judgment of those who crucified Him in that first century A.D. and the “end” was the end of the old Mosaic animal sacrificial covenant. The “end” was never speaking about the end of the physical world.
