Do any of you remember the big “top secret” project 0buttface began right on the White House lawn in October of 2010? That went on for two years. Noise and congestion with all the dump trucks pissing off the locals until October of 2012.
Just for shits and giggles I did a map search and found that Arlington is exactly 2.8 miles from the W.H. lawn. And after all that construction all they could come up with is that they had to renovate some old pipes and other such blatantly lame explanations.
