Medically retired Army soldier, also a veteran law enforcement officer, In law enforcement I served as a training officer with San Mateo County SO and with Ca. NG 670th MP. Military active duty I held two different MOS, 67U (CH-47 Flight Engineer) and 67N (UH-1 Crew Chief). In the army guard I picked up an additional MOS of 95B (Military Police), I also served 3 years as a HH-60G Crew Chief in the CA Air Guard.
I deployed 4 times in direct support of combat ops for Golden Pheasant, Just Cause, Desert Storm, and Iraqi Freedom. After retirement in 2004 I founded Veterans United For Justice a veterans advocacy nonprofit assisting vets with the VA, and with programs for PTSD. In 2006 I was inducted into the Louisiana Veterans Hall of Honor.

I thank this veteran for his service but I’m getting sick and tired of people who should know better calling America a democracy. We are not and never were a democracy.
