Unconfirmed Reports: American, French Air-Force Attack on 7 Oil Tankers at UAE Part of Al-Fujairah

Local media, citing eye witnesses, report mysterious explosions at the United Arab Emirates port of Fujarah early Sunday with no information on the cause of the disaster, casualties or comments from the authorities.

According to first reports US and French warplanes were flowing overhead at the time and from 7 to 10 oil tankers are in flames. The UAE is currently expanding the port to hold the world’s largest crude oil storage facility, capable of storing up to 14 million barrels of oil.

Several heavy explosions occurred early on Sunday in the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, a number of media reports say. The reports, citing eyewitnesses, further suggested that American and French warplanes have been seen flying over the port at the time of the incident.

According to the Emirati Foreign Ministry, four merchant vessels had been targeted by “acts of sabotage” in Gulf waters off its coast.

“Four commercial, civilian trading vessels of various nationalities this morning suffered acts of sabotage off the UAE’s eastern coast,” the statement reads.

The government of Fujairah denied on Sunday media reports about several heavy explosions taking place at the emirate’s port, insisting that the port is functioning as usual.

“The press service of the Fujairah government denied media reports about powerful explosions in the emirate’s port earlier this day and confirmed that ship traffic is as usual,” the state-run WAM news agency reports.

Earlier in the day, the Lebanon-based al-Mayadeen broadcaster said, citing local media that several heavy explosions occurred in the port of Fujairah.

The blasts were heard between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. local time (00:00 — 03:00 GMT), the broadcaster reported, adding that from seven to 10 oil tankers were in flames. The broadcaster continued by saying that the real cause of the incident has still been unknown.

Other reports, citing eyewitnesses, suggested that American and French warplanes have been seen flying over the port at the time of the incident.

Its one of those CGI news events, in that no tankers were damaged, and the time was pre dawn so no aircraft could be seen. The reorts were already proved fake.

And if you get blasts, they would not be heard onshore and anything military would certainly have sunk all concerned since shaped charges will cuth through double hulls.

No ship names = no damage, we can check to see if they are
so Looking at ship radar, in port is:
      Hong Ze Hu(Arrived 13th May 2019) due 6am 12th May
      Torm Horizon(Arrived 13th May 2019) 1 day late
UACC Consensus(Arrived 12th 5th 11:39am local time – we can assume the port would have been closed if there was an emergency)
      Quinn(Arrived 13th May 2019) – 3 days late
Dubra (Arrived 5th Dec 2018 and has not moved since) 1 day late
The odd bod in port is the NEW TRUST arrived on the 11th May 10 days late. – i.e. 39 days for a 9 day trip from Mombay.
UACC HArmony Arrives 13th May – 1 day late
SCF Sayan Arrives 12th May at 6.02 am 1 day late
GPB2 arrived 4th Feb 2019 2 months 9 days ahead of schedule
Mentor arrived 13th May 6 days behind schedule.
TRISTAR SPIRIT bunkering tanker which seems to be based there and refuels the ships, all the rest are tugs pleasure craft etc.

it is safe to assume the port would have been evacuated and the ships now at a more secure location if any incident occured, that it is chocker and still operating says it all.

Apparently The Andrea Victory was at anchor some 12 miles away from FUJAIRAH and has a hole in her stern N25° 10′ 43” E56° 33′ 22” and Is a Norwegan Vessel which flies an Isle Of Man flag, its last port of call was Zanzibar and it arrived on the 11th May

The AL MARZOQAH a Saudi Arabian flagged vessel last port of call Saudi Arabia on the 25th 4th Yanbu Industrial and was at anchor outside Fujairah May 5th N25 9′ 47” E56 28′ 21”,
        A Michel a bunkering tanker from the UAE which departed Fujairah 10th May at 23:09 and arrived at anchor 11th 5th 00:19 N25 10′ 38” E36 31′ 16”
        Go to https://www.marinetraffic.com
You will see no support vessels have been sent to these ‘damaged’ ships at anchor nor have they been moved into port and surrounded by pollution nets.
