Q Anon: Russian Nuclear Forces INF Treaty Terminated - WW3 Heats Up

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov takes part in the briefing on termination of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) with the US, in Moscow on Monday, August 05. Russia and the US have repeatedly accused each other of violating the Cold War times’ agreement.

After announcing in February 2019 that it would suspend its participation in the arms control treaty, US formally withdrew from it on August 2. The Russian Foreign Ministry published a statement the same day thus announcing the Treaty’s termination “at the initiative of the American side.”

The INF Treaty was signed in 1987 by then US President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, to eliminate the US and Soviet stocks of intermediate-range and shorter-range land-based missiles. The treaty banned missiles with ranges between 500 and 1,000 kilometres (310-620 miles) and those between 1,000-5,500 kilometres (620 miles – 3,417 miles).”
