This story is fitting to understand the way things can evolve, and we MUST have vigorous debate over these issues so that our nation and its economic principles ARE NOT lost in this fundamental transformation theology and populism in the USA. Politics is what I consider the Threat of the 21st Century because these kinds of societal struggles is how fundamental transformations in constitutional laws and order can be countered by decree. We are seeing this happen all over the world today. If We the People think this can’t happen in the USA, that’s when it’s most likely too happen.
As we continue to see an economic nothingness evolve with a monetary policy that’s hamstrung with the populous politics of the number 1 big government regulatory blockade on economic growth, environmentalism, and its distaste for overpopulation in the world to the point it is willing to accept anything to feed its thirst for resolve of it. We the People should not lose our right to sustain our nation’s values and prinicples as a FREE nation because of this. We the People need to stand mighty and secure our nation’s liberty and justice firmly in the face of this and resist the bastion of this disdain for our nation.

BTW, the United States is not a “democracy” as you stated above. It is a “republic.” Review the Pledge to the Flag. Also, check Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution of the United States. We are a “republican” form of government.

While this article does contain a link to another article about Obama’s supposed linkage to the Muslim Brotherhood, again, it contains no concrete links and only tangential connections through third parties. It is analysis, not fact.
With regards to my political leanings, I refuse to acknowledge any factional divisions that are employed by the false left-right paradigm to divide people. I advocate fiscal responsibility and balanced budgets. I advocate a strong national defense. I advocate investment in research for transportation and energy technologies to replace the outmoded means of the 20th century. More important, however, I advocate the creation of a new system of governance that takes the lessons learned from the widespread corruption that has infected our existing governmental apparatus.
Continuing emphasis on partisan divides and attacks on politicians within individual national parties is no better than continuing to run in a rat wheel. We will never advance our popular interests and affect real change as long as we remain self-chained into a false paradigm.

Then, that makes you a “mug-wump.” It’s your choice, but I prefer not to be a mug-wump. I have advertised myself as a “strict constructionist” constitutional conservative. I started out in 1960 as a Kennedy liberal democrat. After a few years, I wised up, grew up, and switched to conservative republican and was so for about 45 years. However, in the last year of GWB’s second term, the Repugnant Party left me, so I became a constitutional conservative. A mug-wump I will never be. But that’s your choice and that’s okay.
Don’t be self-deceived into thinking that your choice may not be a false paradigm also. I think the name of the game should be to keep an open mind and not blame others for a different choice than yours–or mine also.
I appreciate your approach to dialogue. We can learn something from each other.

I do understand the difference between analysis and fact. All I ask is that an article with “PROOF” in the title contain actual proof.
Call it what you will, “mug-wump”, “centrist”, “independent”, it doesn’t really matter.
I don’t necessarily believe that abstaining from national politics will affect a change, but I do believe that we can agree that on both the far left and far right, the discourse has been hijacked by those whose interests are vested in continued conflict (the media, et al), not conflict resolution.
Until we stop thinking of politics as a) a spectator sport and b) an “us vs. them” game, we will continue to be pitted against each other by power elites on both sides.
One man’s “proof” is another man’s “spoof.”
Today, politics is not a “spectator sport.” Instead, it is a “blood sport.” Just look at how the progressives go after their opponents. As a good example, look how they go after Sarah Palin. It is unconscionable how they attack not only her but her husband, her daughters, and her handicapped baby. The progressives are not happy until they draw blood. That’s blood sport for you. Progressives on the attack have no self-control.
