NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity took above images on June 19, 2019 (Sol 2441) at Teal Ridge in the clay-bearing unit in Gale Crater, Mars.
Above images show an eroded piece of wood on Mars.

The eroded wood piece exposes its 3 dimensions–horizontal, vertical and sloping sides (at far left). Each side shows remains of wood vessels (notes 1, 2).
