The Obama Administration is Purposefully Destroying Jobs

Tom Blumer reported the following:

On August 3 (U.S. To Train 3,000 Offshore IT Workers), InformationWeek.com‘s Paul McDougall reported that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is operating at cross purposes with the Obama administration’s stated goal to keep high-tech jobs in the United States.

The USAID has since attempted to do some backing and filling about the assistance that it is providing in Sri Lanka, but its arguments may ring hollow, given McDougall’s report two days later that the agency is also helping to fund information technology (IT) outsourcing efforts in Armenia.

Spread the Wealth Mistake

The only savings grace (if you can call it that) is if I continue to find no employment for the remainder of this year, my income will be zero CY2010. That means I am living at the poverty level and will be qualified to have zero taxes to pay. I will then be eligible for welfare, grants, and freebees—thanks to Obama’s “spread the wealth” socialism. His bankrupt-the-country policies and job destroying policies have caused us to go from a $120K income contributor of taxes to a zero income receiver of “spread the wealth” unemployment insurance benefits. What a crock! We must stop this Obama socialism on November 2, 2010.

Shariah Law is coming

Some wonderful retired military generals exist who are very concerned about this problem and are working hard to help save our country from the usurper POTUS. We must work to keep ACORN, SEIU, and NBPP from stealing the elections—and those traitors who want to destroy our country will certainly attempt to do just that. Thank you for helping in this great work.

Kirsten Powers

I find her positions to be rather irritating at times because she does not come across as intelligent as Charles Krauthammer does. Megyn Kelly is much more intelligent. I do not care much whether a person’s opinions are conservative or liberal, but I do like to see them apply good logic, employ sound reasoning, and avoid those idiotic talking points. I want their comments to stretch my imagination, cause me to think, and give me moments of “Oh, that’s good to know!” However, she is a much better liberal debate opponent than Geraldo Rivera and Alan Colmes.

Medical Insurance

I am on Medicare and obtain my medical services through Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage Program (for California residents) where I pay only $96 per year through my social security. I do not pay anything for medical treatments except co-pay (which are very small amounts of money like $20) for doctor’s appointments, lab tests, and prescription drugs. I got very sick last fall for a month with a bladder infection and was very happy with the treatment and services I had received.

My wife, Karen, cannot be on Medicare right now because she is 9-1/2 years younger than I am; hence, it will be another six or seven years before she can get on Medicare. She is currently on Signa Insurance Company Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) through my former company (BAE Systems) until the end of this calendar year (2010). After that, we will either pay the extra money to keep her on Signa or find another insurance company.

We definitely will not go with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). Karen also does not want to go with California Blue Cross/Blue Shield. We will probably stay with Signa and pay the extra money because she gets good medical doctors and excellent services through Signa. Additionally, she is very happy with her doctors and services received for her major neck surgery during the last week in July 2010.

I recently read a compelling letter by a former AARP member. This is my opinion and my motto: I would NEVER join the AARP and give my money to a political arm of the Obama administration in promoting socialism. If I were a member of AARP, I would quit immediately if not sooner. The AARP is a Marxist-socialist organization—purely un-American.

Immigration Avalanche

Susan MacAllen, a Canadian citizen and a contributing editor for FamilySecurityMatters.org, wrote an article of her year in Denmark. In 1978-79, she lived and studied in Denmark. However, in 1978—even in Copenhagen—she did not see any Muslim immigrants. The Danish population embraced visitors, celebrated the exotic, and went out of its way to protect each of its citizens. This is akin to what we are doing with illegal aliens. Denmark was proud of its new brand of socialist liberalism, which was in development since the conservatives had lost power in 1929. It was a system where no worker had to struggle to survive, where one ultimately could count upon the state as in, perhaps, no other western nation at the time.

The rest of Europe saw the Scandinavians as free thinkers, progressives, and infinitely generous in their welfare policies. Denmark boasted low crime rates, devotion to the environment, a superior educational system, and a history of humanitarianism. Denmark was also most generous in its immigration policies. It offered the best welcome in Europe to the new immigrant with generous welfare payments from first arrival. They provided to immigrants additional benefits in transportation, housing, and education. Denmark was determined to set a world example for inclusiveness and multiculturalism. How could it have predicted that one day in 2005 a series of political cartoons in a newspaper would spark violence that would leave dozens dead in the streets—all because its commitment to multiculturalism would come back to bite them?

By the 1990s, the growing urban Muslim population was obvious and its unwillingness to integrate into Danish society was likewise obvious. Years of immigrants had settled into Muslim-exclusive enclaves. As the Muslim leadership became more vocal about what they considered the decadence of Denmark’s liberal way of life, the Danes—once so welcoming—began to feel slighted. Many Danes had begun to see Islam as incompatible with their longstanding values: belief in personal liberty and free speech, in equality for women, in tolerance for other ethnic groups, and a deep pride in Danish heritage and history. It is easy to understand why a growing number of Danes would feel that Muslim immigrants show little respect for Danish values and laws. It serves the Danes right. They got exactly what their progressive attitude allowed.

Now, the United States is following suit with what the progressives in our country is doing. They are too stupid to learn from other countries’ mistakes. They would rather repeat the stupidity. There is no racism involved. We call it self-preservation. It is not going to be pretty for our children and grandchildren. In 2001, Denmark elected the most conservative government in some 70 years—a government that had some decidedly non-generous ideas about liberal unfettered immigration. Today, Denmark has the strictest immigration policies in Europe. If you wish to become Danish, you must attend three years of language classes. You must pass a test on Denmark’s history, culture, and a Danish language test. You must live in Denmark for 7 years before applying for citizenship. You must demonstrate intent to work and have a job waiting. If you wish to bring a spouse into Denmark, you must both be over 24 years of age, and you will not find it so easy anymore to move your friends and family to Denmark with you.

The Danes wised up. Will the United States wise up before it is too late? Only time will tell unless the conservatives that win back our country will show some leadership and implement the kind of corrections that Denmark is making. We can only hope for this needed kind of hope and change.

Freedom of Speech

The Obama administration and the Progressives (of both the Democrat Party and Republican Party) are attempting to curtail free speech and to revoke the 1st Amendment. That shall not stand. “We the People” will see to it that we will retain exercising our freedom of speech.

Overhaul of Our Schools Needed

We MUST return our pre-schools, elementary schools, intermediate schools, junior high schools, high schools, colleges, and universities to this principal’s kind of principles, values, morals, ethics, and integrity. We must replace the progressives running our schools and teaching our children and grandchildren the nonsense they promote. We must replace them with good constitutional conservative administrators and teachers to return our schools and students to good Christian basics. If we are unsuccessful in promulgating that needed transition in the next decade, amen to America.

Obama is quickly proving himself as the worst president ever. He definitely is the most vacationing president ever. Israel will probably attack the Iranian nuclear sites this weekend. My prediction is 3:00 am on either Saturday or Sunday—most likely on Saturday (8/21/10). While Obama is on vacation, it will again demonstrate his rigor mortis in not knowing what to do. This man is a leadership draught! Dr. Seuss said it all in “Green Lies and Ham.”
