“Censory” Overload: You Criticize CAIR or Sharia, You May Be Censored

Top social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have amped up their censoring policies and continue to ban people they deem “dangerous.”

Silicon Valley’s tirade on banning Conservatives and right-wing activists has many everyday conservative Americans asking, “When will I be next?” Laura Loomer, Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, James Woods, and Paul Watson are just a few notable Conservatives barred from social media platforms.

A disturbing theme has been emerging when it comes to this censorship craze. It is becoming increasingly clear that if you speak out against Sharia, condemn CAIR, or simply upset Muslims, you are at risk of being blacklisted.

Laura Loomer, a conservative journalist and activist, was permanently banned from Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Paypal, Uber, Lyft, and GoFundMe, for criticizing Sharia law and calling Rep. Ilhan Omar, anti-Jew. Loomer claims that CAIR influenced Twitter to ban her because of her regular criticism of them and their “favorite daughters”, Congressional Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.

Judge Jeanine Pirro, Fox News host, was suspended from the network for suggesting that Ilhan Omar’s religious beliefs conflict with the U.S. Constitution.

Michelle Malkin, a conservative author, commentator, and entrepreneur, was censored on Facebook over a post that supported recently-banned conservative figures, Laura Loomer and Gavin McInnes. She was also contacted by Twitter warning her to get legal counsel because she violated Pakistan’s blasphemy laws when she tweeted cartoons of Islam’s prophet Muhammad in 2015.

The list goes on and on. But congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar’s frequent anti-Semitic rhetoric has not just been overlooked, it has been defended by top Democrats.

In a recent interview on Yahoo News’s “Skullduggery” podcast, Tlaib said:

“There’s always kind of a calming feeling, I tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports, And, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And, I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways, but they did it in a way that took their human dignity away and it was forced on them.”

In 2012, Omar tweeted that “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”

The twenty-first century – what a time to be alive. We have a wealth of knowledge and digital connections at the tip of our fingers 24/7. However, with this abundance of technological freedom comes a danger of potential totalitarian in the form of censoring conformity.

We have had so much social decay that we can’t simply debate minor subjects without the term hate speech being utilized as a weapon against those who may see things differently.

The elites and the mainstream media have an agenda. Unfortunately for Conservatives, their views don’t align with this agenda.

We have now found ourselves in a time where if you simply have a viewpoint that is contrary to Silicon Valley you are labeled a danger. The most threatening type of censorship is when it is cloaked as a form of good intentions. The Big Tech giants claim the increasing censorship is to remove dangerous people. Their definition of “dangerous” can now be interpreted as anyone who has opposing ideologies from theirs.

Conservatives are a danger. They are a danger to those who oppose freedom of thought and support mental conformity. For those of you on the left, no need to worry, Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey want your free speech rights to continue because your ideologies are in line with their malignant mission.

I’m not just talking about losing your rights to post selfies on social media. There is an immediate threat to our free speech rights. If you don’t think we are on a slippery slope to following in China’s censoring footsteps, then you are kidding yourself.

We must use our voices now before they are considered too “dangerous” for modern day society.
