Dealing with Islamo-fascists

Asynchronous warfare is combating terrorism. Guerrilla warfare, paramilitary warfare, and insurgent warfare are all forms of asymmetrical warfare … and so is combating terrorism. Hence, asymmetrical warfare and asynchronous warfare are the same. World War III is going to be, if it is not already, an asymmetrical or asynchronous war. It is a war of ideology, a war of philosophy, a war of culture, and a war for the survival of the Western way of life.

Contrasting View of Things. When I talk about a war of ideology, a war of philosophy, a war of culture, and a war of the survival of the Western way of life, I am referring to the vastly contrasting ideologies, philosophies, cultures, and way of life between the Islamo-fascists (terrorists) and the civilized world (i.e., Western society). If we did not have such a vastly different view of these things, we would not have the resulting conflict.

Conventional Warfare. Synchronous or symmetrical warfare is conventional warfare. Asynchronous or asymmetrical warfare is unconventional warfare. Conventional warfare is what we fought in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. Unconventional warfare is what we fought in the Vietnam War and are currently fighting in the War in Afghanistan, War in Iraq, and the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). Therefore, not all warfare is asymmetrical warfare.

Definition of Words. I fully understand that misunderstandings and confusion can result when people cannot agree on the definition of words they use in their discussions. For example, take conventional, synchronous, or symmetrical warfare. The reasons why I designated WW I, WW II, and the Korean War as conventional, synchronous, or symmetrical warfare include the following:

1. The combatants on each side wore military uniforms with military insignia on them.
2. Each side was signatory to the Geneva Convention.
3. Each side followed a clear chain-of-command from top to bottom.
4. Both sides used advanced weapons and tactics.
5. There was a battlefront and lines that separated the enemy from friendly forces.

Terrorists Characterized. Whereas, for unconventional, asynchronous, or unsymmetrical warfare, a significant difference exists between what one side (the terrorists, for example) uses and what the other side (the West) uses in the way of weapons, tactics, uniforms, adhering to the Geneva Convention, lines of authority, and battle lines. The terrorists do not use a consistent uniform. You cannot differentiate the terrorists’ uniforms from those of ordinary Arab-Muslim-Islamist (AMI) civilians. They do not follow the Geneva Convention. They are intentionally indiscriminate on who they kill. They do not care about collateral damage. They do not even care about fratricide of their own people. In fact, they believe in and practice genocide of the Jews and the entire Western civilization. Finally, urban warfare does not lend itself to battlefronts or battle lines.

Principles of Asymmetrical Warfare. From this premise, I have devised certain principles of asymmetrical warfare that demonstrate how to beat the Islamo-fascists at their own game. If these principles are taken seriously by our political and military leaders, we will win all future asymmetrical or asynchronous wars. These principles of asymmetrical warfare were not derived from deep study, military doctrine, or complex military theories. They were derived from simple common sense and from the ideas expounded by my greatest military hero, General George S. Patton, Jr., who said, “A leader is a man who can adapt principles to circumstances.” The principles are what you will find in Uda’s (2007) book, Principles of Asymmetrical Warfare. The circumstances are asymmetrical warfare.

“Islamo-fascists” Defined. Before we go any further, however, I must define what I mean by “Islamo-fascists.” I call them “Isfasts” for short. Isfasts are comprised of a smaller percentage of all Arabs, Muslims, and Islamists in the world. The Isfasts attacked the United States on September 11, 2001, destroyed the World Trade Center Twin Towers, and killed nearly 3,000 innocent non-combatant civilians in the process including those at the Pentagon and those in a field in Pennsylvania.

A Hijacked Religion. The Isfasts want to wipe Israel off the face of the map. They desire to kill all infidels, i.e., Americans, Westerners, and the non-believers of the Islamic religion. They hijacked the Islamic religion and twisted the passages of the Quran (In the literature, this is also spelled Qur’an, Quraan, Koran, Koraan, Qoraan, or Qoran) to support their own extremist ends. They celebrated and danced in the streets when the Twin Towers came down. They include the nations and people that finance and support the terrorists. Their goal is to dominate the world.

Who are the Isfasts? The Isfasts comprise about 10 percent of the AMI population of the world. Since there are approximately 1-1.5 billion of these people, the Isfasts is comprised of about 100-150 million people in the world. That is nearly 1/3-1/2 of the population of the United States. That is a formidable group with which to contend. The Isfasts include the members of al-Qaeda, Taliban, Hezbollah, HAMAS, and the anti-American peoples of Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and other Middle Eastern, East Asian, and Pacific Rim countries that believe in and expound the goal of “Death to America” … America to them being “The Great Satan.”

Who the Isfasts are not. The Isfasts do not include the approximately 90 percent of all Arabs, Muslims, and Islamists in the world who are peace-loving and tolerant of other religions and peoples of the world. Former President George W. Bush said, “Islam is peace, and the United States is not against the religion of Islam, but those who pervert the religion to support terrorism and mass murder” (Garamonde, 2001).

Isfasts’ Goal. Because of the intolerance displayed by the Isfasts toward the West as well as the ultimate goal of the Isfasts (i.e., world domination), we have a problem that cannot be resolved through debate, discussion, diplomacy, or compromise. The Isfasts do not believe in compromise. It is all their way or the highway for us. It is impossible for diplomacy to work with such an unyielding position held by the Isfasts.

Conventional Warfare. Yes, if anyone defines no war as “conventional,” then we cannot intelligently discuss about what is conventional and what is unconventional. I have defined what I mean by conventional warfare, and if one cannot accept and/or disregards my definition and insist that no war is “conventional,” then there can be no further logical discussion about conventional and unconventional warfare.

Death to America. The Isfasts believe that Americanism provides a decadent way to live. They do not believe that America is great. They only believe that America is the Great Satan, and they preach “death to America.” However, I do not believe that it is a generally accepted opinion throughout the world … lest why are so many foreigners trying to come to America both legally and illegally?

Conclusion

We had better prepare ourselves for the coming attacks. We must also help educate American citizens and prepare them to combat terrorists in the United States of America. If we are prepared, we have no need to fear. We must not bury our collective heads in the sand. We must eradicate the enemy within. We must be forever vigilant.
