War, Genocide, Justice and the Palestinian Bid for Statehood

Zionists want to expand Israel and believe they can create a “Greater Israel” through a barbaric use of force and diplomatic cover from the U.S.  For these Zionists state power has become their  false idol and they bow down to it as their golden calf.  Zionist Christians believe it is okay to break the Ten Commandments, engage in the Seven Deadly Sins or even perpetrate genocide if it advances Zionist criminality.  Through this belief they have made Israel and Zionism their false god.  Evangelicals in the U.S. believe it is a sin to oppose Zionist theft, destruction, ethnic cleansing, torture, murder, war crimes and crimes against humanity  This pretty much sums up the entire Zionist movement, be it Christian or Jew. 

While Christians would certainly scoff at the idea of human sacrifice or killing a man for committing sins, they seem to have no problem granting Zionist government the authority to engage in the mass slaughter of defenseless women and children.  Zionists have always believed that their end justified their means.  Before they had state power, Zionists pioneered the use of mass-casualty terror bombing to give rise to the state.  One need only see the tactics of the terrorist groups such as the Irgun, Stern, Haganah and Lehi and the slaughter of 91 British peacekeeping troops at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem.

Although hidden from Americans, Israeli Zionists have slaughtered American service members in attacks such as upon the USS Liberty, have used bulldozers to crush US peace activists as in the case of Rachel Corrie, purposely shot a girl in the face with a tear gas canister to cause serious brain damage and blindness as in the case of Emily Henochowicz, or executed an American child, Furkan Dogan, with a bullet to the back of his head as he lay face down on a humanitarian aid freighter.

Throughout history rulers have believed that if they could use the power of the state to make others obey their strictures so as to implement their philosophies, they could create paradise on earth and bring eventual happiness, peace and prosperity to mankind.  Usually this involves exterminating those who refuse to comply and using instances of the most heinous coercion in a futile attempt to change human nature.  In doing this, the state has to allocate and expend such great amounts of resources and perpetrate such great atrocities that the heaven that was promised in the end soon becomes the epitome of hell on earth.  However, unlike communists, socialists, or even classic liberal governments, but Zionism make no promise of a better world, just the expansion of Israel at the expense of the rest of the “gyoim”.

In the case of the former Soviet Union, we see that all the state was trying to accomplish was making people operate in an altruistic manner that would require them to place the needs of others on the same level at which they placed their needs.  For something so seemingly simple the USSR had to swear off capital formation, profits, entrepreneurship and ownership.  This end-goal required vast amounts of police, prisons, labor and re-education camps, an internal police force such as the NKVD to ruthlessly torture and government power to kill tens of millions of people as Stalin used government to kill as many as 30 million human beings.   When people in power decide their ideology has become the new religion, they recognize no limit on their means but it seems the end keeps getting farther away.  In the case of Zionists, they have traded in their humanity for expansion, a tradeoff that also means extermination for Palestinians.  The question that remains is whether the world will stand idle while Israel carries out its crimes.

The U.S. saw its initial goal as “Manifest Destiny” as settlers engaged in genocide against the North American indigenous population.  The modern U.S. state now it sees its destiny as global domination in politics, economics and militarism.  The U.S uses is power for the benefit of the Israeli state and has covered its crimes through the exercise of U.N. Security Council vetoes, but in doing so has astonished the entire world at how effectively the Zionist lobby uses the U.S. political system to manipulate and control not only American politicians, but its entire political process.

As the state became a false idol to the masses, for Christians the dictates of the state began to supercede God’s commandments in prescribing how man should treat each other as legality began to trump justice.  It is at that point that the state became a god whose words carried more weight than the commands of the Bible.  The Bible does not say, “Thou shall not kill except when the U.S. government seeks to dominate economically, politically, or militarily, or when Israel wants to expand its land mass.  But, as bad as worshiping state power as a false idol is, the perverting of Christianity to support the destruction of homes, the stealing of land, ethnic cleansing, torture, murder, mass starvation and genocidal wars are the things that make Christians lose their moral footing.

The U.S. was responsible for the death of three million Vietnamese, but the only limit to slaughter the U.S. power elite recognized was the limit at which their endeavors caused them to lose power.  If they could have stayed in power, or if their bellicosity would allow them to garner more power, the power elite would have exterminated the entire Vietnamese population.  Does anyone know what the limit was that Johnson had placed on the number of Vietnamese he was willing to kill to achieve his goals?  Foreign lives never figured into any decision except as it could cause domestic political pressure.

The Bible shows us that Jesus overcame his greatest temptation when Satan offered Him dominion over all the governments of the world. Luke 4:4-8 says: Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ “  But, the U.S. elite believe they are superior to Jesus in that they could better rule the world through politics and violence than through Christian love.  

To be the ruler of the world was the greatest temptation Jesus faced.  For a temptation to be real, it has to be a contract that is deliverable.  If an offer is bogus by being something the other party cannot provide, then there is no temptation at all.  Jesus was certainly was in the position to know if an offer was real and deliverable.  The Bible teaches that earthly governance belongs to Satan.  So, Christians need to remember that a man’s soul will surely be placed in jeopardy if his greatest ambition is to rule.  And, while all rulers promise to be good masters, but they first mean to be masters.  Are there any politicians who have not traded truth, justice, love and mercy for political benefit?

In La Boetie’s “The Politics of Obedience: The Discourse of Voluntary Servitude”, he said,“ Poor, wretched, and stupid peoples, nations determined on your own misfortune and blind to your own good! You let yourselves be deprived before your own eyes of the best part of your revenues; your fields are plundered, your homes robbed, your family heirlooms taken away. You live in such a way that you cannot claim a single thing as your own; and it would seem that you consider yourselves lucky to be loaned your property, your families, and your very lives. All this havoc, this misfortune, this ruin, descends upon you not from alien foes, but from the one enemy whom you yourselves render as powerful as he is, for whom you go bravely to war, for whose greatness you do not refuse to offer your own bodies unto death. He who thus domineers over you has only two eyes, only two hands, only one body, no more than is possessed by the least man among the infinite numbers dwelling in your cities; he has indeed nothing more than the power that you confer upon him to destroy you. Where has he acquired enough eyes to spy upon you, if you do not provide them yourselves? How can he have so many arms to beat you with, if he does not borrow them from you? As you see, you become the servant of the devil when you seek to rule other men.  There have been over 260,000,000 people murdered by government from AD 1900 to 2000.  These people were killed by government and not by war.  If you add war casualties that adds another 200,000,000, bringing the total to 460,000,000.  We can see that the murder of citizens by government exceeds losses for wars over the same period.  How can it be said that God would want any part of this genocidal slaughter that is more akin to human sacrifice to Satan than anything remotely resembling Christian governance?   Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, the genocidal wars in Africa all committed by leader who feel they have a right to hold in their hands the lives of millions of people, as do our leaders who control the monetary system and international banking.

American Christian Zionists believe that Israeli Jews are morally justified in any action, be it murder, torture or assassination on an individual basis, or ethnic cleansing and genocide on a grand scale.  It seems it matters not to Christian Zionists as to the righteousness of these actions, sincerely believing these crimes result as an act of God’s will working through the Israeli government.  Would God work through a system owned and controlled by Satan?  So, if bombing innocent Palestinians is okay, why not just line them up and shoot them?  Or, why not just put them in death camps and gas them?

Christian Zionists believe Jews are morally justified regardless of the crimes committed so long as the ultimate goal is for a “Greater Israel”.  But, if this is just, then why don’t Christian Zionists just come out and promote the executionof every Palestinian man, woman, and child, as opposed to being cryptic about their desire for genocide and ethnic cleansing in the name of the Lord? 

If we follow this line of reasoning, why not just allow Americans to kill Palestinians or rob Muslims of their money, jobs andhomes in the U.S.?  The answer to this question obviously is: Because America has laws.  But if Christian Zionists condone Israelis robbing Palestinians of their homes, property, and businesses or destroying the same, why wouldn’t it be okay to do the same in America if one were using the money for the benefitof Israel?  Maybe these people would support crime when it is one of Jew on Muslim.  For Jews to claim justification of their actions by receiving diplomatic cover through the U.S. asserting veto power in theU.N. is exactly the same legalistic nonsense that Jews used to justify the murder of our Lord.

It behooves every American to read “The Lobby” by Mearsheimer and Walt.  This book demonstrates that American politicians will support any criminal act committed by Israelis because our leaders are professional panderers as opposed to statesmen.  There is little that they will not support, regardless of its heinousness, to garner the support of our Zionist-controlled media.  Does the support of opportunistic politicians who have led this country to ruin equate to moral legitimacy?

It seems humanity desires rules, but the class of people who are the most “rule oriented”, and this means government agents, are usually the first ones to abuse their authority through arbitrary and capricious decisions, abuse of discretion, perjury, and unlawful use of force.  The same people who insist we follow every rule to the letter and spirit of the law are the first ones to excuse atrocious actions taken by government fiat.  These “Christians”, who deify the state and all its actions, act as if the life and death decisions for total war and extermination came from God as opposed to a cabal of lying, opportunistic politicians who engage in self-promotion and demagoguery while pandering the very worst human instincts and characteristics.

Christian Zionists, as long as they aren’t made aware of the violence and unpleasantries involved in theft, destruction, murder, ethnic cleansing and genocide, or of the unarmed Palestinians being obliterated while standing up in defense of their homes against a military juggernaut, feel the conflict and its violence and criminality can be ignored or rationalized away without their bearing any responsibility for having to make any moral judgments.  I guess an American  nation that was built on genocide of the indigenous population does not want to go too far in examining mass extermination by an earlier group of people who also claimed to be Christian while mutilating men, women, and children.  This is not ancient history, but goes back only about 140 years ago.  Christian Zionists apparently believe the Lord’s bountiful blessing can come in the form of land theft through germ warfare, genocide, and extermination.

If the atrocities visited upon the Palestinians were perpetrated against the same Christians Zionists who condone such crimes when committed by Jews, there would be a war of extermination against Jews before Christians would allow their women and children to suffer homeless and slaughter, and such resistance would correctly be viewed as righteous.  Americans, never having had to live under military occupation, accept rather cavalierly the subjugation of other people, even going as far as viewing it as something that should be considered acceptable to the oppressed peoples.

Does the Christian God accept theft if it is being done by government on a national scale?  Does one surrender moral accountability when working on behalf of the state?  Does lying, perjury, and other forms of abuse suddenly become acceptable to people because one wears a government supplied costume?  Do the Ten Commandments stating “Thou shall not steal” or “Thou shall not kill.” suddenly become inapplicable when these acts are done by Jewish soldiers to Palestinians?  The perpetration of these acts by government become more obscene as one includes the disgrace of servitude to these crimes.

Christians spend more time promoting the rise of a Greater Israel than they do attempting to proselytize the people of their own nation in Christian precepts.  People who see this unabashed support for Israel wonder what kind of religion Christianity can be if it is so blind to suffering and can promote ethnic cleansing and genocide.  Moreover, many Christian do not even feel there should be any moral rules to bind the state, believing government transcends good and evil. 

The elements of what comprises hypocrisy seem to be easy concepts to discern, but American have been blinded by what they have been fooled into believing is the utility of war without considering how war contradicts the genius and intention of Christ.  How may times did Jesus command Christians to rise up against the Roman Empire even as brethren were being crucified or fed to lions?  Did Jesus seek to become a warrior?  Would He suddenly consider being a tank platoon leader an acceptable vocational calling for Himself while calling others to his flock?

War is inconsistent not only with the general structure and nature of Christianity and the example of Jesus, but it violates all the express precepts of the New Testament.  “Follow peace with all men.” “Love one another.” “Do justice, love mercy.” “Love your enemies.” “Follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace.” “Return good for evil.” “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice; and be ye kind one toward another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ’s sake, hath forgiven you.” “If my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight; but because……” “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”  Does all this suddenly become nonsense when framed in the reference of the Israel/Palestine conflict or when considering how the machinations of the state will be executed?  Obviously not. 

Prosperity is produced when nations cause comparative advantages to occur by securing liberty and ensuring private property rights, which tends to be the reason that free nations enjoy prosperity.  But as politicians take over, this group then seeks to expand it power and control.  As time goes on this group then seeks to dominate at all costs over all issues great and small.  Eventually, through their unaccountability to any institution, they become greedy, abusive and corrupt.  In the end they destroy a nation that ends up collapsing under the malignancies caused by their political power.  The causes of collapse of nations are not mysterious consequences caused by incomprehensible forces, but are the result of breaking simple compacts that are the structural basis for a just society.  When politicians become concerned with expediency as opposed to truth and justice, the foundations for a just society become weak and begin to crumble.  Nations become sick as the pathology of force and violence overtakes peaceful cooperation.  The body politic becomes ill and the entire physiology become as distorted as the physiology of a heroin addict.  Noam Chomsky has publicly lamented about the ways in which Israel hurts itself to achieve military domination.  Yet, many refuse to acknowledge the costs of its fascist militarism and religious extremism.

The simple commands enumerated in the Ten Commandments and their meanings can be rationalized away by Christian Zionists, and while they attribute the fall of past empires to various types of practiced immoralities, they never attribute the wrongdoing done in the support of a fictitious entity called government as being the aggregate slaughter by immoral individuals performing immoral acts for which each individual participant owes responsibility.  It seems the only time the Israelis want to mention the viciousness of government is when they want to assign blame to Germany for its genocide of Jews.  But, all actions are undertaken by individuals as there “the government” is a fictitious entity and must enlist real humans to carry out its evil deeds.

The belief by Americans of being unaccountable is wrong. As a nation we have made war our export justifying it by claiming its reasons were benign all the while knowing the stability we claimed to fight for was actually war for the sake of oil, or some other matter of economic, political, or military dominance.  The soldier, now a warrior by profession, is ready to fight any nation, or any part of his own nation, as he is sent with no consideration for the righteousness of his cause.  He must have no mind of his own, but engage in slaughter as he is ordered.  Military law is specifically written to break men to military discipline and passive obedience.  As a man it turned into an unthinking machine, it is assumed he has become a better soldier.  But, Christ commands all men at all times to “examine all things, and hold fast that which is good.”

The contempt for life, which is necessary to a brave soldier, is sin. Life is our probation – our period of preliminary service to the great God. No man should despise it. He who masters the fear of death, must do it either by religious influence, or by rejecting the fear of God, and all concern for the future state of his soul. That there are religious soldiers, is true; but they they are much too few to give character to an army. Christians are mere exceptions to the general military character of the professional warrior and their aggregate which makes up an army.  The contempt of life, which distinguishes the veteran, is itself a great sin, and is induced by the preceding great sins of casting off the fear of God and the concern for the soul.

What gospel precept is there, that a professional soldier is not at times compelled to violate? What Christian grace is there, which he would not devalue as part of his trade in death and destruction?

Look at an army prepared for battle. See the artillery, cannons, bombers. Do these men look like Christians? Do they talk like followers of the meek and lowly Son of God? Are they prepared to act like the friends of the human race, and like followers of God as dear children, seeking to bring all men to the knowledge of Him?  Are the lessons they learn at daily drill like the acquirements needed for a life of faith? Are their feelings toward the opposite host, like those which are produced by “fervent love,” out of “a pure heart?”

While the attacks against the Palestinians are horrific by themselves, no where does war wear such horrors as in a siege. The inhabitants are shut in.  Business, pleasure, education and civil discourse are checked.  Sorrow, poverty, terror, and distress are spread abroad. As the bombardment begins, shells explode in the streets, or penetrate the roofs of houses. Citizens are killed in the streets.  Women and children retreat to their cinderblock homes and live in all discomfort under military law and confined to their homes for days on end. Day by day the gloom thickens. All news is of houses bulldozed, land stolen, persons killed, children maimed, prices raised and scarcity increased.  The Israeli government used the euphemism of “expanding operations” to describe its intended desire to engage in the wholesale mass slaughter of civilian women and children.  

Gladly, perhaps, would the citizens surrender, but the Zionist government does not want surrender, it wants extermination.  At length, famine is enforced. The laborer, out of employ, cannot purchase food at such prices.  In Palestine fishing boats are attacked, sunk, or seized.  The father, and his family, never having known daily comforts, falls victim to rigorous poverty, hopelessness, and to death and disease.  Still the siege continues in occupied territory. The middle class sink to beggary. Every thing is sold to buy a little food. Palestinians have made breaches in the walls, but often are buried, or slaughtered trying to get food.  All neighbors must work, amid galling fire, to try to assist each other for survival.  Mines are sprung and dropped bombs blow houses and the occupants into the air.  Bulldozers are summoned as families watch their lives crushed under tread.  No relief comes. 

Thousands perish in atrocities such as Operation Cast Lead, many while trying to save others.  All are miserable.  The widow, the bereft mother, the disappointed bride, and the tender orphan, mourn continually.  Pestilence succeeds to famine. Thousands, who have escaped violence, die of disease and injuries as Israelis cut off medicine and hospitals and ambulances are fired upon. The sick are delayed for days and weeks as basic medicine is withheld, usually to the most innocent, that being the children and the elderly.  At length, the land is taken by storm, pillage, or depravation.  Brutal soldiers raven among the virtuous; and the indescribable scene ends in permanent poverty, lamentation, and dishonor.  Is this the face of Christianity?  Will such actions ever bring people to Christ?

The world has one last chance to save itself by providing Palestine with the recognition of statehood and hold all parties responsible for war crimes, to include the U.S., Israelis and Palestinians.  Only then will the world have chance at justice and peace.
