Riot-Gear Cops Kill 95-Yr-Old WWII Vet in Nursing Home
Park Forest Police in riot gear have killed with a tazer and a round of shotgun beanbags a disabled 95-year-old WWII veteran in a nursing home after he refused surgery.
“95-year-old veteran John Wrana fought for America in World War 2, but he didn’t get a chance to die for his country,” reports the Libertarian Republic. “Instead, his country killed him with a beanbag shotgun blast to the stomach after a thorough tazering.”
After Wrana, who used a walker, refused surgery at his assisted living home, he became agitated at the staff for pressuring him for medical attention, according to the Chicago Tribune.
“He was a war hero and didn’t like being pushed around,” the Libertarian Republic said in its article, DIE FOR YOUR COUNTRY! OR THEY’LL DO IT FOR YOU!
Police in riot gear soon arrived to subdue the senior citizen.
Employees of the home report that they asked officers to intervene but not to harm him.
Instead, police tazed the wobbly war hero and followed that with a beanbag to the guts. He died a few hours later.
“The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said Wrana died from internal bleeding from blunt force trauma caused by the bean bag rounds,” reports CBS.
Illinois State Police have launched an investigation into the alleged killing.
“When the police came, they took over. They wouldn’t even let the staff calm him down, even though they repeatedly, literally, begged them, ‘Let us try and calm him down,” attorney Nicholas Grapsas said.
“Park Forest police were able to do what the Japanese military couldn’t do,” he said.
Officers reported a knife had been pulled, but no knife was found on the scene.
Police used a riot shield, shotgun and tazer on a 95-year-old man in a walker, presenting no threat to anyone, only the pocket book of medicos.

The guy had dementia. Should they have tazed him instead? Or had a bunch of cops tackle him? Dementia patients are violent and they’re physically fragile. There are a lot of examples of the police acting with excessive force but this one isn’t one of them.
They did tazer him. Did you not read? Repeatedly. It is clearly excessive force if the person dies from blunt force trauma. I understand even old guys off-their-rocker can be dangerous, though. I dealt with a 90 something Golden Gloves boxing champ who didn’t know me every time I visited once a week. He could punch you into next week. Dementia psychosis can be handled in other ways. It takes time and patience, not a riot squad. Clear why you keep your name anony-mouse.
I didn’t read about dementia anywhere in the article. He REFUSED SURGERY. Maybe they were trying to cut off something that he wanted to keep, even if it was diseased. He was 95 years old. Why didn’t they let him die with dignity and intact?

It’s real simple folks. Police departments all over the country have turned into mini paramilitary terrorist groups. This is what happens when power and authority are given to the wrong people. The police in this country have retired their long standing motto of “To Protect & To Serve” for a more modernistic, new world ordered theme of “Comply or Die.” I for one, even though I have done nothing wrong, avoid the police like the plague. If ever confronted by a police officer I will be in fear for my life. Like I said, regardless of doing anything wrong or not I consider an encounter with a police officer a potentially life threatening event. I am the average Joe American. If I am feeling this way then many, many others are too. I foresee a time in the near future where Americans, out of fear for their safety will avoid the police at all costs. Funny thing though. I was brought up believing that the police were your friends and you could go to them for help. Now, to even report a crime could result in you becoming a suspect yourself, rights violated, property seized, physical harm, torture, incarceration and death. It doesn’t matter the situation. What does an aggravated 95 year old man, a woman having a medical seizure, a pastors wife in a church parking lot, a 13 year old boy with Down’s Syndrome all have in common? THEY WERE ALL KILLED BY POLICE. COMPLY OR DIE!

I just watched “West Memphis”, an encouraging documentary about the Memphis Three and how the people relentlessly worked for justice and won. It took many standing up for truth and justice in that case. It will take many more to resolve the corrupt system in control in the US, but it could be done – only if and when enough people hurt badly enough from the corruption.
