Site: SouthernCaliforniaWeatherForce.com has issued a Santa Ana Wind Warning effective today …

Date: 4/17/16 at 2:10am PT

Forecast: Strong winds will continue as they have for a couple days now and today will be the last of the winds. This warning is for strong wind gusts of 30 to 45 mph with stronger gusts just below the pass and canyons areas.

Areas that don’t normally get windy conditions will open up today, namely San Diego and the Hemet areas … in-which Hemet might get near 40+ mph so power outages are possible.

This, with warm/dry conditions will also bring a fire weather concern, thus this is also a fire weather watch.
