It is very odd how she keeps wiping away non-existent tears. At first, I thought, perhaps something was irritating her eye… even if it is in the exact area where tears first begin to spill, it could be mere coincidence… but then she wipes away at both eyes… and still, not a single tear… and not a single makeup smudge. It is apparent that she attempted to deceive those present who were visually too far away to see that she was mimicking overwhelming emotion. If not for video and magnification, she might have pulled it off… after all, tears are colorless, clear, transparent… and everyone is eager to support a genuine survivor. Rhetorically speaking, why did she attempt to fake grief? What sort of survivor even thinks about the deceptive option to fake it?
