this is a perfect example of what news isnt.
Exactly. He claims to have see the first plane hit when nobody else did. He can’t say he “misspoke” either when he said that and he actually meant the second plane. Because he was sitting there reading that book when he was told. He definitely didn’t see that one.
Another thing, if Bush remembers seeing the first plane hit the Tower, when he was told that a second plane has hit the other tower and America was under attack. Wouldn’t that news have made him forget about the read along and go find out what was going on? He didn’t have to run out screaming, but just say Thank you kids, I’ve got to go now.
