40 Days of Prayer

Please read the email below from Pastor Townsend. He speaks the truth. I firmly believe that Barack Hussein Obama is doing everything possible to win a second term. This undeviating ideologue and demagogue with mesmerizing oratory skills and charisma has 50% of the people in a trance like a Pied Piper. The Liberals/Progressives are pulling no punches in attempting to win this coming election. They are lying, cheating, stealing, and committing all forms of voter fraud and corruption to achieve a winning outcome. The Prophet Isaiah said it perfectly when he said, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20-21). They (democrats, ACORN, SEIU, NBPP, and other Kook-Aid drinkers) are working daily, along with the corrupt lame-stream media and vial bloggers to destroy Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. The cards are stacked against the Romney-Ryan ticket.

Please join in this most worthwhile endeavor. The Liberals/Progressives will mock our efforts for they do not know who God is (to wit, they booed Him at the DNC) and what He can do in providing the midcourse correction so badly needed in American politics. The Lord said, “A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this” (Psalm 92:6). He further said, “The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness” (Proverbs 15:14). Therefore, “Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words” (Proverbs 23:9).

We must save our nation from the evils of the socialistic, “spread the wealth,” nanny state mentality that has a stranglehold on half of the citizens of our great nation. The Lord said, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). He further said, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:11-13). Along with Pastor Townsend, I invoke your support and supplications in this most worthwhile endeavor.

Dear Beloved,

Friday marks 40 days until the election, and I want to encourage you to take time each day starting on Friday to pray for the upcoming election, and that the Lord would give us leaders that we NEED. I would like to encourage you to pray that the Lord would open the eyes of the people of our country to be able to see clearly how atrocious this present administration has been to our nation. I am very concerned about a “willful ignorance” that exists all across our land. Please join me in praying that the Lord would have mercy on us, that He would show us where WE need to repent, and that we would humble ourselves before Him, and that we would be living holy and consecrated lives both in public and in private, so that He would be free to answer our prayers, if He chooses to do so.

These next 40 days could determine which way the “scale will tip” as I sincerely believe that America is “hanging in the balance” spiritually; will you do your part to intercede for her? I mean, will you FERVENTLY intercede for our nation?? Please join me these next 40 days, and let’s pray TOGETHER that the Lord would have mercy on us.

Also, if you are not registered to vote, there is still time, but only a few more days! Please register if you have not yet done so. It is very easy, and only takes a few minutes!
