Eye On The Target

Months, sometimes years before a “Co-Op Mission” is
completed, the patterns of the “target” are studied.  Carefully watching every move, the team is
able to predict actions and now equipped with the ability to recognize the
slightest change.   After all information
has been gathered, it’s time to engage.   The Co-Op Team is ready to launch the mission,
capture or assassinate the target, and achieve the success they’ve spent
countless hours planning for.   Because they kept their eye on the target,
researched before engaging, success was the end result.  Many of you have been given a mission
(vision), but have you studied the target (audience)?    Do you know the needs?  Or are you engaging without proper
information?

It’s sad but true; there are many people who are birthed
with great visions, yet success they never obtain.  Is it because the vision wasn’t truly
given?  Lacked substance and the power to
sustain?  Or could it be they didn’t
study their target and wasn’t properly equipped to engage?  In most cases, it’s the latter of the three….  As believers we sometimes feel because God
birthed us with the vision, we’re completely equipped, AND THIS IS NOT TRUE….  It’s true He will give the vision as well as
provide us with what is needed,  but if
you don’t put in the work and research, HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS NEEDED?

Many of you have started businesses, ministries, blogs,
released CD’s and books, but before engaging on this mission, you did NO research.  You woke up with the vision and just ran with
it.  As a result, you find yourself
questioning if it was given by God, depressed, mentally exhausted, financially
broke, and feelings of failure is surfacing. 
You never took the time to ask the important questions like: Who are you
targeting?  What age group?  Which gender? 
Is there a particular ethnic group? 
Where should I plant? And all the other questions successful individuals
have found imperative to achieving their goals.

The most successful businesses in the world today aren’t successful
because they have a great concept, but because they studied those they are targeting…  Did you know the Cadillac CTS is sold to more
women than men?  Well it is and it’s
because they studied the patterns of the group they were targeting. When first
launching the car a “Lip Stick Cooler” was included. While surveying women, it
was discovered women are highly frustrated with most cars because their lip
stick melts due to the heat.  They
studied their target and as a result this, they succeeded.  This is just one example of keeping an eye on
the target, there are so many more I could list, but don’t have the time.

The truth is…  YOU
MUST KNOW YOUR TARGET BEFORE ENGAGING…  What
are the needs of those you are trying to reach? 
What are their interests?  Who do
you desire to reach?  What will make you
stand out amongst the rest?  You must put
in the work, research the needs, study and learn your target.  If you don’t know who you’re trying to reach,
HOW CAN YOU REACH THEM?  So if you’re
wondering why people aren’t eating your food (vision), maybe you’re cooking
