“You’re Not Worth The Energy It Takes To Hate You”

All the signs were there; the writing was on the wall; the
past had shown she/he couldn’t be trusted, yet you gave them the benefit of the
doubt????  “How could I be a fool yet
AGAIN?” you ask…   Today you find yourself mad and you want
revenge?    You’re pissed, upset, angry, disappointed,
and want to punch their lowdown trifling @$$ right in the face, huh? 

Ever since the incident, you haven’t been able to focus, regain
composure, and you’re trying to figure out why they would do this, huh?  You thought they were different this time,
but they’re still the same “toxic” person you left, huh?  You’re pissed because you want to HATE, but
you have to FORGIVE them huh?  If vengeance
is the Lords, why haven’t He taken it and if He’s not, you’ll be glad to do it,
huh?

The truth is…  You’re
hating someone who’s not worth the energy it takes to hate…  Right now you’re giving power and energy by focusing
on an incident that brought you great pain and if you’re completely honest, you’re
really mad at yourself.  You’re pissed at
yourself for wanting them to be different… 
You’re pissed at yourself because you thought you were over the last
time they hurt you…  You’re pissed because
you let your guard down and now you feel like a fool…   You showed yourself vulnerable and feel you
gave them control once again…  Well here’s
what you have to do… FORGIVE YOURSELF… 
You’re not perfect and you’re going to make a mistake…  Whatever has happened, you have to let it go…
  Beating yourself up for wanting someone
to be different keeps you in the dumps… 
Also, hating the person keeps you attached to them, and they’re not
worth it…   Forgive yourself, forgive him/her again, and
never look back…  They’re not worth the
energy it takes to hate them, but you’re worth the energy it takes to love
yourself and let it go…
