What has caused Americans to give up in the face of an unprecedentedly evil tyranny?
That’s just the way people are. They need a leader and for them the government whether they like it or not is the leader.
This is an automatic unthinking response to tyranny.
It is the same mindset that enslaved the African Americans, the Russian Christians, the armies that fought in all wars, the Moslems to their religion, the Jews to theirs the Hindus to theirs.
It is the same mindset that as mentioned more generally above has Ukrainians fighting Russians without knowing the real reason, even though they could easily find out in this age of mass communication.
People are willing to be led without questioning the leader.
They respond to power not reason, force not faith, lies rather than truth, persuasion rather than common sense.
They are one person they surmise, “Who can argue with the Beast?”, as it says on Revelations, they firmly believe.
They go along to survive, unquestioningly, and if you asked them why they would not be able to give you a straight answer.
They would not have one, having not even asked the question of themselves. Or have they?
Thus “the principalities and powers of the air “ take control.
