MARKET WRAP FOR WEEKLY AGRI COMMODITY

CHANA

·         Chana ended down after two weeks of uptrend on the back of profit booking and reports of better sowing progress coupled with favorable weather conditions.

·         Chana prices will take cues from reports of acreage from MH and AP and weather conditions while lower output estimates may trigger short covering.

GUARSEED

·         Guar seed ended up for 6^th consecutive week making a fresh all time high of 7418 on the back of firm export demand in near term and limited stocks.

·         Guar seed trend is now a bit cautious as the arrival season is ongoing in the domestic market and also 10% special margin will be imposed on all long positions that may trigger profit booking.

JEERA

·         Jeera sizzled up this week gaining 11.6% on the back of fresh buying and rise in export demand as it increased by 3.5%

·         Jeera prices will be dependent on crop growth status in major producing regions and its outlook on export demand and it may continue uptrend in coming week.

PEPPER

·         Pepper ended down for the week due to long positions liquidation on the back of profit booking despite a 32.5% rise in export demand.

·         Pepper prices will take cues from its domestic and international production reports and arrivals in the domestic mandis
