Sembcorp Industries on Tuesday unveiled plans to expand two of its utilities facilities in China – its wind power plant in Huanghua, Hebei province; and its industrial water plant in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. Both expansion projects will cost 520.1 million yuan in all. Sembcorp said it will build, own and operate an additional 48-megawatt wind farm in Huanghua, through its joint venture with Guohua Energy Investment Co.

Jaya Holdings, a mainboard-listed offshore energy services company, said on Tuesday that it would be selling its subsidiaries to Australia-listed Mermaid Marine Australia for S$625 million. The sale, representing all of Jaya’s businesses, comes after a strategic review conducted by Jaya in September last year, where the company explored options to “enhance and unlock shareholder value”.

JTC Corporation (JTC) on Tuesday launched five industrial sites at Tuas South for sale under its first half 2014 programme.The two sites at Tuas South Street 6 (Plots 45 and 47) under the confirmed list are zoned for Business-2 development with a lease of 21 years 3 months.
