It has now become common knowledge that muslims cannot have liberty.
They can have a strong-man secular dictatorship, or they can have a fundmentalist islamic regime administering sharia law (another form of totalitarianism), but they cannot have liberty because liberty, by definition, liberates the individual.
Only that society whose member’s actions are dictated from within from a Judeo-Christian ethic can have liberty. Where “all men are created equal”, no man, or group of men, can tell another what to do apart from his consent, in such a society it is necessary that God-given rights are the basis for an unchanging legal code.
