The Battlefield Bill

The Battlefield bill. S. 1867 declares America a battle zone. It will give the power of the state directly to militarized police, and the military personnel. It will virtually make any American a combatant on the new American version of ” Obama-freedom,” and the Patriot Act. This bill gives the American military domain and civilian police powers. Actually these powers are beyond that afforded to the ‘Army’ against citizens in ancient Rome.

 

 

“The worldwide indefinite detention without charge or trial provision is in S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill, which will be on the Senate floor on Monday. The bill was drafted in secret by Sens. Carl Levin (D-MI) and John McCain (R-AZ) and passed in a closed-door committee meeting, without even a single hearing.” (Chris Anders, UCLA, 26 Nov. 2011.)

 

 

This bill puts anyone accused, on the Battlefield, subject to martial law. It perverts the U. S. Constitution. It makes America a Police State, run by the Military.

 

 

In support of this harmful bill, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) explained that the bill will “basically say in law for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield” and people can be imprisoned without charge or trial “American citizen or not.” Another supporter, Sen. As far as I’m concerned it makes Levin and McCain, worse American traitors than Jane Fonda ever was. How could anyone justify a Police State as fit in any way to govern American freedom?

 

 

This mandate is directly forbidden in the American Rule of Law.   Yet, in    Congress   it has drawn supporters like  Senators  Lindsey Graham and  Kelley Ayote of New Hampshire.

 

 

Dominionist Objectives:

 

 

Senate Bill, S 1867 is not mutually exclusive in terms of draconian law proposed by   ‘Right Wingers.’  There is VIPR.

 

 

“TSA, the Transportation Security Agency of Homeland Security has enacted  random stops,  under the “Visible Intermobile   Prevention  and  Response”   program of Homeland Security.   Tennessee was the first to deploy VIPR simultaneously at five weigh stations and two bus stations across the state.

 

 

“Agents are recruiting truck drivers, like Rudy Gonzales, into the First Observer Highway Security Program to say something if they see something.” (Amy Alkon)

 

 

“The  random inspections  really aren’t any more thorough than normal, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol Colonel Tracy Trott who says paying attention to details can make a difference. “People generally associate the   TSA   with airport security…but now we have moved on to   other forms   of transportation, such as highways, buses and railways,” said Kevin McCarthy, TSA   federal security director for West Tennessee.” (TN News Press)

 

 

S 1867 and VIPR, are the result of several attempts over the past ten years to make America a ‘Dominionist Police State.

 

 

I would argue that Americans have been reduced from being ‘citizens’ to ‘subjects,’ just on the basis they no longer have ownership of personal property over the right of the state to take it through   asset   forfeiture or eminent  domain.

 

So, your car or house is really not your personal property anymore. The state can just take it, and, now randomly TSA can inspect it first.

 

 

Nobody Knows Their Rights:

 

 

One of the reasons I founded the Bill of Attainder Project was because I knew how little American lawyers, and Judges knew about the subject. If I encounter an elected official or attorney I always pose the standard questions to them, “Do you know what a bill of attainder is?” “Do you know the computer formula to enumerate a Constitutional right?”

 

 

Over the past twenty years only a handful of people could tell me what a bill of attainder was. Not knowing your rights in this environment is a dangerous proposition. Your ignorance as a citizen is no asset to the cause of freedom.

 

 

Simply, a bill of attainder is a law that plunders life, liberty, or property. I like a more academic and complete definition but the basic premise is stated. Actually bills of attainder are more than one thing. A bill of attainder ‘proper’ is put put somebody to death without a trial. Bills of attainder include a number of aspects from different points of the law. A more formal definition is:

 

 

“A bill of attainder is a law or legal device used to outlaw people, suspend their civil rights, confiscate their property, used to punish or put them to death without a trial.” (Bill of Attainder Project)

 

 

Americans have never realized the full benefit of the bill of attainder mandate in the American Rule of Law. It is supposed to be there, like the right to own personal property over the right of the government to take it. The protection is there, but neither Congress nor the Courts has never taken it to the full extent of the law.

 

 

This condition could only be changed if citizens knew how to mutually show their rights.

 

 

How to Prove Your Rights:

 

 

It’s possible to show your rights in this day and age. The following formula can lay your rights like freedom of speech and any others.

 

 

 

American rights are determined by the instrumentation of Constitutional law, meaning that rights are enumerated. The rule of law comes primarily from the legislature and the courts. The following formula shows the historical basis, and a common reference base for both modalities of American law.

 

 

 

 

 

1. Show the constitutional (‘State and Federal’) provisions (Like from the 1st. Amend.) that specify the ‘right’ you are trying to demonstrate.

2. Show any legislative acts, that support a particular right, as being ‘Constitutional.’

3. Show the judicial decisions, (stare decisis) of the right you are trying to show by these proofs.

4. Show where violations have happened in regard to a particular situation.

 

 

 

 

 

Certainly, this formula can be expanded to include helpful references, but if you have a computer ”search engine,” the formula works well all by itself. Most will come up with the same supporting documents about any given enumerated right. There are at least two centuries of historical supporting material for any given right you might investigate with this reference formula.

 

 

In order to restore American rights, people have to know them. Bills like S 1867, and programs like VIPR are only possible because people have not learned to properly demand the preservation of their rights in the American system.

 

 

Senators like John “The Manchurian Candidate” McCain can make law behind closed doors. He can abandon the people, and work for the Plutonomy, and Christian Nationalism. These traitors have violated the trust of the American people in abusing their Oath of Office to preserve the U. S. Constitution, and ‘your’ individual freedom.

 

 

First Rule of the Battlefield:

 

 

To date the primary text used for the students of the Chinese Military Academy, is the “Art of War,” by Sun Tzu. Rule One, is to really know your battle ground in terms of environment. That includes, ‘who is really who,’ as well as knowing the topography, and social landscape. This includes trying to know your self and enemy as well as you can.

 

 

America as a battlefield, proposes an environmental space whereby the American people are divided to the point of violent uprisings, even insurrection. Battle is driven by intense fears and any propaganda that moves the social fabric, might be used in today’s media.

 

 

What McCain has proposed is a philosophy driven attempt to shift full political power to an aristocracy. McCain has close ties to the American Dominionist, or Christian Nationalist movement. He is also clearly a supporter of the Right Wing’s bought and paid for, (1%) Plutonomy.

 

 

The question has to be asked, “How tuned into this constituency is McCain’s bill?” Do Christians and rich people really want to live in a War Zone? Do you?
