SHTF, The Individual & The Community

One thing I wanted to address with my fellow Preppers, Survivalists and Off The Grid Aficionado’s, IS THE MATTER OF SHTF, COMMUNITY, AND THE INDIVIDUAL .

Some time back Don Jones, wrote a post on community that really stuck in my mind. One thing he wrote is that isolating during SHTF can be very problematic. We must understand that during a SHTF situation or WROL situation the modern infrastructure that we now know will be non-existent, it will have completely broken down; our modern infrastructure depends on ONE major factor LOGISTICS.

During a SHTF situation and especially during a WROL situation MODERN LOGISTICS as we know and understand it does not exist, and therefore all logistical operations and capability must be temporarily rebuilt in the locale where the SHTF or WROL exists. This must be done on a local level, as capability increases we must then merge the local logistical capability to a more regional operation and capability. This endeavor is impossible without SAFE, TRUSTWORTHY, WELL ORDERED COMMUNITY. All matters of individual and community life depend upon well planned and executed logistical capability, without it there is no ability to live life in a healthy and truly capable manner. Community thrives and operates on logistics, without it healthcare cannot work or even exist, insuring healthy clean food and water, as well as safety and security cannot exist either.

A well planned and operational logistical system depends on COMMUNITY, without which, logistics simply does not work. Community depends on PEOPLE, people who will agree to come together for a common cause; in this case survival, and the rebuilding of their infrastructure in order to obtain and maintain a healthy and free life under the guidelines of The Constitution. Mutual co-operation is vital to maintaining safety, and health in SHTF, in SHTF & WROL the community and the individual are equally important, and must be equally attended to by all members of the community. There must be a mindset of mutual benefit for the whole of the community as well as the individuals in the community.

The community is only as strong as their willingness as a group to care for and see to the needs of the least among them, the wounded, the ill, the elderly, the mentally ill, physically handicapped, the hungry, the lonely, and the emotionally devastated. We must care for our own as a community and as a people, we must insure the well being and foundational capability of each member of the community during SHTF & WROL. All must cooperate, all must work to the best of their ability, and all must look to the needs of each individual and to the community as a whole. This must be done voluntarily, and it must be done with a heart of free agreement to the task at hand of rebuilding and lending to the overall strength of each individual and the community as a whole.

Each individual must be a vital part on a volunteer basis of the whole of the community logistical system that will bring maximum benefit to each individual and the community.

THIS IS HOW WE ALL WILL SURVIVE AND THRIVE AS A PEOPLE.
