New Study shows Liberals have a lower average IQ than Conservatives
The first part of the study lists the correlation between political beliefs and intelligence. Subjects of the study were chosen at random and requested to come to an unmarked van to take a test and answer some questions for a reasonable amount of money.
Of the 100,000 people, there were people from many doctrines, from conservative to liberal to marxist to fascist. Socialists came out on bottom, with an average IQ of 87. The second worst were Liberals and then Marxists, with 88 and 89 respectively. Conservatives received an average score of 110, which is significantly above average. However, the conservatives did not score the highest. The holder of second place were Communists with an average I.Q of 115, and the first place was apolitical people who did not follow any specific doctrine, who received a whopping score on average of 135.

ou do know that Satoshi Kanazawa, the one responsible for that “study”, is the same guy who said that black people live in poverty due to lower IQ’s and that black women are intrinsically “unattractive.” Of course on this study you brought up he used the same flawed methodology as on those others, which even provoked P.Z. Myers to say he is not a real scientist based on how he conducts his research. Coincidentally, even if he was right and used correct methodology, it still wouldn’t mean what you think it means because of how he defined liberalism: “the genuine concern for the welfare of genetically unrelated others and the willingness to contribute larger proportions of private resources for the welfare of such others.” Now wait a minute, isn’t it conservatives that stress private charity, and isn’t it conservatives that have been shown time and time again to be the ones who donate more money based on the percentage of their income? The answer to both questions is yes. That means that even if his research wasn’t faulty, by the definition he provided, it would be conservatives who would have the higher IQs, not liberals.
