There’s no shortage of controversy surrounding the benefits of homemade pet food recipes vs. poorly made commercial pet foods. However, when you consider the basic ancestral diet of animals in the past, they primarily hunted their prey and would eat it raw – bones and all. With the concern for bacteria and food-borne illnesses in raw meats, many pet owners prefer to go ahead and cook for Fido and Fluffy, but still find their pet reluctant to making the transition tohomemade pet food recipes.

First, you need to carry the aura of confidence every time you put down your pet’s homemade meals, as they can sense it if you are hesitant. If your pet doesn’t seem interested right away give them some time. Some animals just don’t respond to change well.
