Back in January the news broke about Germany coming to get 300 tons of gold from the Federal Reserve in New York. I just want to make sure everybody understands that the headline is a bait and switch.

How much gold are they coming to get?

Answer: 674 tons of gold

Why are they taking 674 tons of gold?

Answer: Because the United States and France both want to send gold to Germany.

Why does the media tell us about the 300 tons of gold Germany is coming to get and not tell us about the other 374 tons of gold; even though the New York Times clearly informs us of the total?

Answer: Because that would involve telling the public why the United States and France are sending 374 tons of gold to Germany.

Ok here is the breakdown.

For some time now, people have been talking about going back to the gold standard.

Do you remember Egypt? Mubarak was ousted as a leader by the United States for the freedom of the people there. Cairo was a riot for months. The United States saved the day in Egypt. But why?

Do you remember Libya? The United States saved Tripoli and the people from a horrible dictator. But why? Gadaffi was working on an “oil for gold” deal with several African nations, including Egypt. This was in the works for over a year. Mubarak was going all in with his partnership and that could not be allowed.
