Surface rust can form very quickly on today’s sheet metal once the coatings are removed. This damage was fairly fresh when the photo was taken. Another consideration, is that the pillar metal, where the supposed “outie” is located; is made from a different material than the rest of the car. The pillars angle, and the High Strength Low Allow pot metal would react far differently than the Low Strength Low Alloy pot metal of the rest of the car. Not only that, it appears tampered with; like an investigator’s tool to retrieve the bullet; notice that the rest of the hole is an “innie”; its only the one side that appears pryed up…… I dont have an complete opinion about the Sandy Hook situation, and have nothing but respect to you for digging….. Saving the corrupt teachers unions millions for failing to protect the children and they get to twist the story to suit the gun grabbers agenda.
