DHS Terror Drill Focuses On 'Domestic Terrorism'

Twenty-three government agencies including the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Energy, TSA and FBI ran a Department of Homeland Security funded counter-terrorism exercise at the Port of Tacoma in Washington state last Friday.

Tacoma, home to the 10th largest container port in the country where each year over 1.7 million containers worth $46 billion are moved, held the drill where the proposed scenario, a “man with a score to settle” places two IEDs (improvised explosive devices) inside the port, one of which that emits a radioactive signature.

The most telling aspect of the drill is the claim that the scenario was meant to simulate a response to the “very real threat of homegrown terrorism,” not an outside threat.

While this is going on, DHS is buying 360,000 rounds more of hollow point ammo. I think its obvious now what they are preparing for. -Mort
