Doomsday fanatics claim that a 12th century prophecy states the successor to Benedict XVI will be the last pope before the end of the world.
After the Mayan 2012 prophecies failed to materialise, apocalypse aficionados have turned their attention to the purported writings of St Malachy, an Irish saint and Archbishop of Armagh, who lived between 1094 and 1148.
St Malachy is said to have travelled to Rome in 1139, where he experienced a vision of future popes, writing down a series of 112 cryptic phrases that described each one in turn.

The saint’s final prediction ‘Petrus Romanus’ is now being linked to leading contender Ghanaian Cardinal Peter Turkson.
According to Malachy’s visions, ‘Petrus Romanus’ will be the 112th and final pope after whom it is stated that the ‘the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people’.
Although not part of official Catholic teaching, the Prophecy of the Popes is well known by Vatican officials and Catholic scholars.
Naysayers have found ways to successfully link each of the phrases to a corresponding pope throughout the centuries.
Pope John Paul II, for instance is associated with phrase No. 110, ‘From the labour of the sun,’ because he was both born and entombed on the day of a solar eclipse.
And current pope Benedict XVI, is linked to phrase No 111, ‘glory of the olive’ due to the fact that some members of the monastic order founded by St. Benedict are known as Olivetans.

So much for Peter the Roman. I knew the “Prophecy” was BS.
The many ‘bibles’ were re-written by the banking families who now have weapons like haarp that make earthquakes and lightning, to create ‘armegeddon’ while people think it’s just nature or god instead of haarp weapons. Share info, this site, activistpost.com, geoengineeringwatch.org, etc. just copy up business card size memos to give out. That’s a positive, information is strength. Don’t waste time on fear, spend time sharing info. God gave us two hands, feet and a brain. Strength comes from doing, not sitting around. Many church leaders today have been paid off, and are false leaders trying to keep people scared or distracted, instead of doing something.
REAL God is about getting out and sharing real info, the positives come back to you fast as more of us are informed. Do it for your family and others. Sharing info is easy so just do it !
Pope Elect Francis hasn’t been installed as pope yet. Until it happens, withhold judgment on the prophecies of St. Malachy. Also recall that his prophecies are not articles of faith.

Not so fast…there are several correlations to this Pope from the St. Malachy prophecy. 1..From the Prophecy of the Popes, it states that Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman) will nourish his sheep (or flock) through the tribulations. Pope Francis I is known for feeding the poor. 2..This pope is from the Jesuit order, and if you know anything about Jesuits, their internal leader is known as a “black pope,” and in the Jesuit Oath, they pledge to infiltrate governments and take whichever side is necessary to further advance the Church. The Jesuit Oath also has as one of its pledges to “take the bark of Peter the fisherman” *Peter*…3..Even though Pope Francis I is from Argentina, he is of direct Italian (Roman) descent. 4. Jesuits have long been associated with the Masons…5. Pope Francis is also a Progressive Socialist who believes in teaching “Social Justice” within the Church. I’m sure there’s more, but I’m still reading up on him.
