Russian Authorities Recorded Conversations Of Boston Bombers Video

Russian authorities secretly recorded a telephone conversation in 2011 in which one of the Boston bombing suspects vaguely discussed jihad with his mother, officials say.

There was also another conversation recorded of the mother of bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, talking to someone in Russia who is under FBI investigation in an unrelated case.

The case was given a limited inquiry by the FBI after Russian authorities told them only that they had concerns that Tamerlan and his mother were religious extremists, and the case was closed in June 2011.

Of course now we know that both Tamerlan and his brother, Dzhohkar are suspected of being the Boston Bombers. This has made the Russian authorities turn over the United States the information they had on Tamerlan and his mother, both ethnic Chechens who emigrated from southern Russia to Boston over the past 11 years.

The Russian FSB internal security service recorded a conversation in 2011 between Tamerlan and his mother VAGUELY discusing jihad. They were discussing Tamerlan going to Palestine, but he told his mother he didn’t speak the language there, according to officials, who reviewed the information in Russia shared with the United States.

US authorities are not sure why Russia didn’t share the information at the time.

The mother of the two boys suspected of the Boston Bombings has denied that she or her sons were involved in terrorism. She believes her sons have been framed by the authorities.
