How The Emergency Room Where JFK Died Was Demolished And Has Been Stored In A Secret Underground Bunker For DECADES

The emergency operating room where doctors tried to save President Kennedy’s life after he was shot has been broken into pieces and covertly stored in crates for years, guarded as if it were a state secret.
As the 50th anniversary in November of the President’s assassination nears, an investigative team from local Dallas station WFAA went digging for the exact location of the broken tiles and medical equipment used on that fateful day.
They found that the room was formally destroyed in 1972 when Parkland Hospital was going through an expansion and Trauma Room 1 had to be demolished.
Where’d it go: This picture of Trauma Room 1 where President Kennedy was treated after being shot is one of the only ones that shows what the room looked like before it was torn down in 1973
Mystery remains: While the walls and floor were broken into pieces and stored in a government facility, the location of the medical equipment (seen in his picture) is not known
One hospital employee saw the demolition process, which took place on October 1, 1973- almost exactly ten years after the assassination.
‘They came in with pick axes and hammers. They chopped the room up into little pieces and put them in these barrels, packed all the equipment up and left with them,’ Don Pyeatt told WFAA.
