Deeply Troubling For All The Wrong Reasons: John Kerry Speaks On Edward Snowden
Being a true liberal is unpopular, but compromising with the system is much more pleasant |
From a trusted news source we learn:
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday that it would be “deeply troubling” if Russia or Hong Kong had adequate notice about Edward Snowden’s plans to flee to a country that will grant him asylum and still allowed him leave.
What is more deeply troubling is the smug way our politicians are dealing with the revelations that the NSA is collecting all of our information in enormous data centers.
Diane Feinstein, that witch, told us that this has been happening for years. So what? she asked. President Obama said, if you don’t like it, then we’re going to have some problems. Our hardworking elected officials mostly said, Gee whiz, you didn’t know we signed over all your rights to shadowy, bloated government intelligence agencies?
So what’s troubling is that we in America are supposed to be OK with getting our phone records, emails, videos, online chats, and our web histories collected for future prosecution, should the need arise. The once liberal activist, John Kerry, who is now the compromised, establishment-tamed lackey Secretary of State, blowing his bad breath over us from his high government perch, lecturing us about the bad faith of the Hong Kong and Russian governments if indeed they let whistle blower Edward Snowden go free.
It’s fun to be a political celebrity |
Well shove a red, white, and blue sock in it, Kerry. Why would Russia or China or Hong Kong turn Snowden over to us? All the nations are affected by Snowden’s revelations, so it’s hypocritical to assume these world leaders would condemn the man who exposed the illegal spying of the NSA to the world.
Why don’t you rub your hands together quickly, and then put them onto your face. Breathe in deeply. Relax. Feel the warmth. And then reconsider how you feel about your beloved country’s decision to fully strip its citizens of its First and Fourth Amendments. Didn’t you once, long long ago, be recklessly against this sort of un-Constitutional intrusion?
And no, sir, it’s not for our safety. If the NSA can so completely collect every American’s most personal, private information, there is no end to possibilities for blackmailing activists, peacemakers, and future politicians who seek to restore our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Who doesn’t have something they’ve said, looked at, or searched for online that would embarrass them?
This is the ultimate breach in security. A world where there’s dirt on everybody. A world where there is no privacy, and sophisticated computers and technology reign supreme. Years ago, this sort of surveillance and date collection wasn’t possible, but with the advancement in technology, there is no end to the possibilities of processing, storing, and analyzing unfathomable amounts of information.
So, John Kerry, a lot of us are deeply troubled, but not because Edward Snowden is flying around the globe searching for refuge. Thank God he exposed what he did so we, as a nation, can have this much needed debate about security and liberty.
Even Barack Obama indirectly thanked Edward Snowden. It’s a debate we should be having, he said. If Obama were any sort of hero, he’d invite Snowden to the White House for a generous breakfast, and talk shop over gourmet coffee.
Listen to the Mockingbird sing; how to tell between its soothing mimicry and its true song. |
Either way, we’re getting one hell of a story out of this NSA debacle. WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange is intervening and helping Snowden find asylum somewhere in the world. Glenn Greenwald’s blasting the surveillance state everyday on major TV networks. Snowden’s gone missing from his supposed flight out of Moscow to Cuba.
Where in the world is he? If I didn’t know any better, I’d think this whole damned situation was a charade or, as Gordon Duff wrote,
We are told, “and how” we are told, aided by every discredited media hack on the planet, that poor Snowden is flying to Russia where he will either be given “safe passage” or “considered” for asylum.
The New World Order is holding a “morality play,” and we all have tickets.
It’s fun to imagine the collusion of major world government entities creating a narrative for us, and CNN reporting on it every hour.
