Incredible 'Air Tsunami' Captured Over Florida
These photographs were taken by helicopter pilot JR Hott of Panhandle Helicopter Tours out of Panama City Beach, Florida. Apparently this is a natural phenomona. Fantastic photos and admit it, a fantastic job. Who wouldnt want to fly helicopters in paradise all day and get paid for it. Enjoy. -Mort

fake
Real!! If the dew-point is right, it happens all the time.
So, because YOU don’t understand it, it’s fake? Interesting. Arrogant, self-centered, but interesting.
I am not sure if I would call this place paradise. But the pictures are impressive. I usually prefer the safer and cuter French Riviera or Costa Amalfitana in Italy.
Anonymous – Since I am poor, my paradise is just a log cabin in the woods surrounded by wild flowers and a meadow. Where you don’t get the Sunday Paper til Thursday. When I get to my little place in the country- don’t spend money – just sit in the swing
You don’t have to be poor to think that is paradise.
few years old
Happens all the time on every coast in Florida.
We called it “sea fog” but it’s a temperature inversion that happens a lot over the gulf. It rolls in off the gulf and over the tops of the condos and across inland just like any other fog – it happens mostly in the morning but is related to humidity and storms: http://www.weatherquestions.com/What_is_a_temperature_inversion.htm
nice!
i’ve seen something similar to this across the horizon. great shots.. if it is an artistic rendering then beautiful.
It’s called FOG…Nothing fake about it it is just the way the fog rolls in.. I live in Pensacola and have witnessed this on foggy mornings
