Who needs to head to the looney news sites, when there is so much insanitty coming from the Republican party. It seems there is a coven of sex crazed lesbians out there that are so desperate to have a child, that they’d force gay and straight men to father their children–and turn them into sex slaves.
At least that’s the thinking of the right wing Council for Marriage Policy:
The Council for Marriage Policy (CMP) is a right-wing anti-LGBT Christian group with a heavy focus on stopping marriage equality. On Friday, they sent a desperate warning out regarding what would happen in this nation if marriage equality becomes legal in all states in the union. The warning came in the form of a 37 paragraph column, entitled Our Last Chance to Save Traditional Marriage, written by CMP President David Usher. It warned that lesbians would trick men, both gay and straight, into fathering children, then make these men into their economic slaves. MOREHERE
Then the child support monster rears its ugly head:
These women, he said, will also be awarded state support. He envisions a world in which women marry women, but keep the fathers of their children around and “combine incomes, double-up on tax-free child support and welfare benefits, decrease costs, and double the human resources available to raise children and run their household,” managing, purportedly, to sponge off of a lesbian wife, a cohabitating boyfriend and the government simultaneously. In an even more baseless prediction, Usher said that the Supreme Court would create different classes of marriage. He devoted an entire section to this crackpot theory in what he calls “Class 1: Mother- Mother Marriages.” In it, he says:

ZERO plus at least one impacted marriage. This has happened to my son. Painful to watch. She’s got a couple of girlfriends over all the time to play while my son works his butt off, always on call. Classic Stockholm Syndrome. Everyone’s afraid of ‘er because she’s unstable and has even threatened a family member with a knife. Three year old grandson is wild as a march hare. They’re deep in debt because of her DUI (add more because she sassed the judge) and beauty college bill. Meanwhile, she can’t get a good reference anywhere.
